This is the real deal for sealing up an RV or stopping a leak around a sky light or anything like that. This stuff is awesome and everyone knows it. To get this to work great follow these pro-tips: 1. Make sure to clean the surface. Duh, this one is so obvious but so many people skip this step. Clean off all the dirt and grime and if you can, use some alcohol just before applying to make sure the surface is pristine and this stuff will stick like the heck. 2. You can cut the tip to whatever angle you desire to get the coverage you need, but I like to use an old thing cake spatula to fill in deep pockets and or spread at angles. 3. If you have a particularly deep area you are trying to get, use backing rod for sure. The Sikaflex will bond with it no problem. 4. Make sure you get the kind you need. Some that I have used in the past are: Sikaflex 221 Adhesive & Sealant Sikaflex 11FC Purform Adhesive & Sealant Sikaflex 291i Marine Adhesive & Sealant (this stuff is awesome) Sikaflex EBT+ Adhesive Sealant & Filler Sikaflex 11FC Purform 600ml Foil Packs Sikaflex 292i High Strength Marine Adhesive (even better than the normal adhesive!) There are many others too, but getting the right one for the right application makes the biggest difference IMHO.

I'm not the most knowledgeable about this kind of thing, and when my camper roof was starting to crack I was worried because I couldn't find what to use. But lucky for me I have a crazy friend who's had dozens of trailers, and used almost everything you can. He pointed me at this and it is perfect. It's sturdy, levels out nice, cheap yet very effective. It's lasted one year so far (it's only been a year since I've put it on) in every weather utah has. Snow, hail, rain, freezing weather, 110 degree plus days When I need to redo my roof, I'm using the same stuff.

This Sikaflex is white. It is semi-self leveling, meaning when you put it down it is soft enough to smooth out without any peaks. I removed the old fan, cleaned off all the residue from the factory install, used butyl tape to seal it (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KBKB9S2), let that set, then covered the edges of the vent and roof with the Sikaflex. That was in the morning and it rained that night; no leaks for 2 months and we've had heavy rain. Very pleased with the purchase.

So heres the tuing that got me thinking..rv user manuals instruc one not to use any type of thinner or petroleum distillate (charcoal lighter fluid or mineral spirits) to clean/prep the roof. They claim these products will damage the roof. Now, Dicor actually has mineral spirits in it to make the sealant pliable when applying and to cure the minieral spirits essentially evaporate. Its pretty hypocritical to teller xonsumers not to use one type of prodcut then advocate to another product with the banned substance as an ingredient. Why isnthis? Money. All of these products are made by the same organization. Now personally, i think its crap to tell consumers not tomuse something then advocate a product with that item in it. Dicor itself is a self-leveling sealant that is used to seal potential leaks from openings in an RV roof. It will, after exposure, dry out and crack which can allow water to enter your rv, causing you more problems than you want. I found this sealant after researching other products they have that are used for concrete. This sealant serves the same purpose and is labeled as a "semi self-leveling" sealant. It does level out but it does not level out as fast and thin as dicor. This actually forms a thick bead on and around the area being sealed. It has no odr of mineral spirits, i cant read the label to be sure (its too small) but it does have some type of solvent in it. It seems to have a nice flexible seal that may take a while to dry out, keeping the rv protected for years. It was just a bit less than dicor as well. Im sold on it. I cant attest to how well it will hold up or its longevity, but so far im happy with it. For the roof prep, i uscraped all the old dicor off carefully, cleaned the whole area with a rag and mineral spirits (used sparingly), and applied this to seal it. Seems better so far. From now on, ill be using this product for my rv roof maintenance as a secondary to the elastomeric sealant tape. That stuff lasts forever. But this seems to be a good prduct. Ill update it in a few year to see how long it lasts.

Great product for my camper when I used it to install my antenna. Also sealed my roof vents that were cracked and my skylight, even though there was no leaks just cracks in the calk!

Does tend to flow, level out. Easy to spread. Seems to seal and last a long time. The camper place used this several years ago and it's still sealing good.

Make sure you check the expiration dates! I purchase a few tubes to keep some in inventory, however, mine will expire less than 30 days.
