Spare parts
We’re bought as part of a combination deal with a micro scalextric track set. I’m sure that they will eventually come in useful but I only purchased them as it brought the cost of the main item down.

Purchased these as the pads has worn out of existing ones. They are very easy to replace as it's just one screw. Seems just as good as the original ones for a great price

These are consumables!
Found my wife had bagged the child’s micro scalextric for the bin because ‘it didn’t work’. The set is less than a year old so I got some of these to replace the originals. Set now goes like new. Even if the interest is no longer there, the set is now in a working condition and ready to sell give away. Original item, best price I could find delivered, and Amazon is just easy. Scalextric should supply spares with a racing set, would add to the longevity.
