The telescoping works great and I really like the hanging of the flags with no ropes to clang on the pole. The two flags fly excellent! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Happy with this flagpole - very sturdy and easy to raise and lower *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2017* PROS:- Very heavy duty flagpole Much heavier than the one I replaced which broke in a wind storm- Telescoping sections come fully assembled, you just need to anchor in ground- Instructions are good, clearly written by someone who knows proper English- Item shipped and arrived well before promised date- No rope and clips to bang against the flagpoleCONS:- The flag stopper ring for keeping the bottom flag holder from floating is useless, I am not sure how it could ever sufficiently do the jobInstallation went well and the instructions for anchoring it are good. Once I had started the concrete, I used 4 large garden stakes at opposite corners (like compass points) and line attached to the flag holders to keep it level. The next day I hooked up a 3 x 5 flag. Immediately the bottom ring started to slowly move the flag stopper ring up the pole. I took it down and tightened the set screw as much as I could. Again when I raised it, the bottom ring moved the flag stopper ring up the pole. My solution was to go and by a Fernco coupler part# PTC-150. It was about 4 bucks and is gray, not black so it fits in well with the pole. I cut the coupler in half and then put it on the flagpole. The top part with the screw for the ball comes off when you remove the set screw from the top ring holder. Once I had the Β½ coupler section on I put everything together and raised the flag. The coupler has not moved and it has the added benefit of being rubber where it contacts the flag holding ring providing some buffer. It is hard to see when it is up 25 ft.I also bought the Sunnytech solar light which fit on top of the pole real well. Took one star away for the flag stopper ring. The flagpole is a good value and I believe will last longer than the warranty but for that overall price, the flag stopper ring should work much better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Like the pole gauge thickness and wind rating, but ground sleeve design had issues *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2020* We get a lot of big winds and gusts, so the high wind rating this pole has, is needed. The ground sleeve design could be much better, not a tight enough fit, way too much play in my opinion. Additionally, the locking hex nut at the base did not align with the hole in the pole (1/4 inch off!), and there was no explanation in the instructions. Was this intentional? If so, there is no way I could tighten it down enough to lock the sleeve against a 10 gauge round pole. Anyone could easily pull the pole out of the sleeve. I ended up drilling new resting holes in the base of the sleeve so the locking hex nut holes aligned. I then used some softer shim metal between the sleeve and pole, and tightened the nut to compress the metal and lock the pole in place.
