Awesome value
Works perfect of course. The key point here is value. This was the cheapest way to go at the time I ordered it.

Very good hardness increaser.
Good product, flaky calcium chloride. Good price. Dissolves quickly with no visible residue. I am satisfied. Thanks. A+

Very effective
Works perfectly. Saves me a ton of money, compared to Leslie’s pools pricing. Chemical works perfectly when you follow the directions. I add my chemicals at night personally for maximum effectiveness. Comes in a cardboard box with product in a plastic bag. I transfer it to the sealed bucket that I purchased long ago from Leslie’s and it’s still perfectly effective the following year.

Comparable to other brands, get it on sale
Works as well as the other popular brands. They are all basically the same so pick the one with the closest size and best price for your needs. You don't want to buy too much as it will absorb moisture and harden up over time. This is also the main ingredient in moisture removers like Damp Rid.

A must add to in ground pools.
Beware of the chemical reaction ( heat ) when adding the pool water. It can burn. A must add to all In ground pools. Saves your plaster.
