Even for Fischertechnik I thought the price is high for this one. It does everything promised, lights flash and you can choose colors. Also the sounds are fun. The base controller makes siren and engine sounds, very realistic sampled sounds.

Good service but product not as I thought. I wanted to program some tunes into it. I can't it is only for short sound effects

An sich ist die Idee des Sound-Moduls gut. Aber warum ist das Sound Modul nur mit einem Speicher bestückt, was etwas über 20 Sekunden speichern kann? Eins, zwei oder drei MB Speicher wären bestimmt für den Preis was FT dafür haben will angemessen.Allerdings kann man mit dem Modul seinen eigenen Sound selbst aufspielen. Das Aufnehmen geschieht nicht mit der frei verfügbaren Software von Fischertechnik, sondern muss selbst erstellt werden und kompliziert konvertiert werden, in ein Format das das Modul überhaupt abspielen kann. Da wünsche ich mir doch ein Update mit anderen Dateiformaten.Eine eingebaute Rekordertaste im Modul selbst, wäre sicherlich viel einfacher gewesen und für kleinere Kinder sicherlich auch praktikabler.
