I used it to stitch beading over a very complex cross-stitch and couldn't see the thread at all. It's thin enough to easily pass through the smallest beads, and seems very strong - I didn't break it with all of my rough handling. But I didn't find it easy to use at all. Unlike thread, this just wrapped around everything due to being on a roll which coiled it. It was so lightweight that it would flick up at all angles instead of hanging down as normal threads do. It made the work SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT than if I'd used normal embroidery threads - it caused a lot of frustration. It seems to be decent value for money though, as I thought I'd used loads, but the roll still looks new. I wouldn't be in a rush to buy this again as I didn't enjoy using it - but it does as it says, and does that well. It's just that I found it quite frustrating. Bobbin thread sometimes gets twisted and upsets stitching. Try it on scrap of fabric to be used first. **Q: Can this be used for singer embroidery machine?** A: Sorry I don’t know but I can’t see any reason why not! I have a janome machine for quilting and I think this is the best of the invisible threads.
