Comfortable splint that helps minimize my CMC pain, yet still allows functional movement & use. I’ve been wearing a size medium that I couldn’t get tight enough. I also have a size small, it it is too tight around my thumb causing it to go numb. I was really excited to see the small + size from this vendor. Perfect fit! Worth the price for the fit & comfort. Highly recommended. Size measurement provided were right on for me.

Very comfortable and supportive I wear a thin liner underneath, to avoid sweating or any kind of irritation in the warmer weather, it’s called a stockette( used under casts etc) This can be made out of a white cotton sock Also and just make a small slit cutting about 1 inches up from the bottom so that you will be able to fit your thumb through it

I think ordinarily this would be a great product, it just so happens not to work for me personally because of sizing. I can tell it would be the best mix of support and function that I've ever seen in a hand splint…and believe me, I've tried a lot of them. If I could get the size right, I think this splint would provide good support for my CMC joint, while still allowing me to use my hand while at work. The problem is that I've tried both the medium and medium plus sizes, and neither works. The medium was the right size for the base of my thumb, but too tight on the rest of my hand. The medium plus was a better size for the part that wraps around my hand, but too big for the base of my thumb. That's disappointing, because I think I'd love this thing if I could get it to fit properly. In short, I do recommend it, but you may have to play with sizing to get it right.

I was a little hesitant to buy this because of the price, it's fairly expensive considering the other thumb protector I also bought on Amazon that was only $10 (Reversible Thumb & Wrist Stabilizer - which is also very good BTW.) That said, this one is clearly higher end, very good quality soft neoprene like material, soft and gentle feeling. Better thumb support. Surprisingly, as much as it wraps around your thumb it's not bulky and is very comfortable. It leaves more of the palm exposed than any other of the 4-5 thumb holders I have. I have thumb arthritis -the joint at the base of my thumb can be painful, it swells, it gets red, sometimes difficult to do simple tasks like opening jars, etc. and this is great. It' can't solve my problem but it sure makes me forget about it. It may look slightly bulky and does have an extra strap that comes from the wrist, goes around the thumb and Velcro's back at the wrist BUT that slight "extra" strap is slim & adds just a teeny bit of extra bulk really isn't noticed and doesn't hinder movement in anyway - the material is so soft, you don't notice, it just gives more protection and support which is great. Highly recommend overall! I do agree with the questions of some other reviewers about the fact that it tells you to measure the palm of your hand at the knuckles and yet, there is nothing around your knuckles. It wraps at the wrist. So yeah, odd that they have you measure the knuckle width as opposed to the wrist however it fit me perfect! On that note, the width of my palm came out to 7 ¼" so I ordered the 7-8" medium - I probably could have ordered the 7 ¼" - 8 ¼" medium as well. FYI my particular wrist is fairly tiny, just 6" so if I had a bigger wrist then maybe you'd want to order a size upI f you're in-between sizes or close, I'd go the size up.

Originally, I went by the instructions to measure across the knuckle for the brace. I ordered a Small/Med & it was too small. It cut the circulation off in my thumb. I sent this back and ordered a Medium, which fits perfectly. The strap that fits around the thumb adds a great deal of stability and there is no hard metal in the brace. I personally like this because it's soft yet stable. I wear it only at night right now because I recently had a cortisone shot, which alleviates the pain totally, for 3-4 months. My doctor and I talked about surgery, which would be a permanent fix, however, the down time would be significant - 4 weeks of complete disuse of left hand, (I'm left handed). Plus 4 more weeks of very little use. Complete healing would take a total of 1 year. I was all for it in the office, however, have reconsidered since I've read all about the surgery and down-time involved. I think the brace will help with delaying the cortisone injections.

When these are new, they work very well. But they age, and quickly. Their Velcro wears out too quickly. In order to use this device, you must wear it fairly tight, which puts stress on the Velcro. I don't know if this is inevitable or they need to use an even stronger material, but it looses its grip, and you're forced to buy a new one. At least that's what I've done. The more you need it, the more you use it, the more you'll need another "fresh Velcro" one. Also, it all seems to wear too quickly. So yes, it's good and it works, but get ready to buy a few if you have to use it much!

Very happy, it's light fits great and provides the perfect support for my thumb. I'm trying to find the same one, but for the left hand, but I can't find one, so I had to contact the seller??

I bought one splint 4 months ago but the the sticky joint is no longer sticky any more. The strap comes off easily all the time. The splint is no longer working. Does the product have any warranty? I cannot find warranty info anywhere. If not, could you send me a free replacement since I got this one only 4-5 months ago? I am aware you are just a distributor, not the manufacturer. But the philosophy is that if I buy a product that has defects from Walmart, I go to Walmart for change or refund; I do not have to contact the manufacturer in this regard.
