I've been using various devices to grind my own coffee for decades and using various devices to make coffee from making it on the stove campfire style, traditional drip, to french press and pod style. If your coffee grounds are too fine they resist getting wet and the water leaks out, you've heard the phrase like water off a ducks back - mess everywhere. So experiment with small amounts. If you do get a batch of grounds too fine, easy to fix, just put them into any sealable container, zipper bag, jar with a lid etc, add cold water and mix, stir, or shake and let sit for 30 minutes to overnight depending on the intensity you desire.
