Moomin Valley Map Design Soup Mug Cup Yamaka Japan

Bought this got a friend of mine who is from Scandinavia and grew up watching the Moomins. She absolutely loved it. Great quality and the print is lovely and vibrant. A great gift!

Beautifully done mug and multi purposed.

this cup is so cute. it's well made and feels sturdy. i like that the shape is quite unique. i use it for coffee and really enjoy the inner printed rim. i love the depictions of happy moomins which remind me of childhood. the cup holds a generous 8 ounces US fl, when filled to just below the printed border.

My daughter discovered the Moomins this year and they quickly became family favorites. I bought two of these as Christmas gifts, one for my daughter and one for my wife, and they have been in use just about every day. My daughter likes to drink her soup from hers and my wife drinks a gigantic cup of tea (or two) every morning from hers. The designs are Moomin-ly lighthearted and colorful and the mugs are sturdy and strong. Each porcelain mug holds a little more than 1-1/2 cups and they are microwave safe. The product claims to be dishwasher safe but we don't take any chances of having the colors fade so we wash these by hand. Better safe than sorry. Whimsical and useful and very fairly priced. Highly recommended.

It’s cute and comes with a nice box so it’s perfect for a gift.

I bought this one and a larger moomin cup. It's quite big and wide (wider than the large cup). It can comfortably hold 370ml of water but it is 400ml up to the brim. Came packed in bubble wrap outside the box but not inside the cup if you're worried about that. The print is fuzzy and dream like but I think that was intended.

This mug is so loved in our home. It is great quality. The weight and size are perfect, and the graphics are beautiful. The colors are soft and it almost has a watercolor feel to it. If you are a Moomin fan, this is a GREAT piece to have!

My teen loves this cartoon for some reason, so I purchased this mug for her. The cup is bigger than I thought, but really pretty and good quality. She loves it.

There is always something new to discover in the artwork. Don't let your coffee get cold while exploring the art!

You can't go wrong with a Moomin mug. Five stars for sure, it's just beautiful
