The top doesn't seal that great but if you store carefully propped against other things or take a tiny piece of tape to keep closed it stays wet and goopy for weeks. Has a smell to it and was leaking somewhat when i got it. Overall, though, it's slime and kids like it. I remember playing with this stuff when I was a kid, it was Ghostbusters slime from slimer. I had fun, and now so do my girls.
