A great toy for generations
I love this developmental cause-and-effect toy, an oldie but goodie I had in my own childhood. I bought this toy for our godson, who has Down syndrome. It was a delight watching him thinking about the toy and how to make it pop: "If I do this, the toy will do that!" Then he discovered that pushing it around would make the dogs bark and zoom around. He and the dogs have enormous fun. It isn't the quietest toy and the barking dogs really raise the roof, but! It's a classic toy, it requires no batteries and it provides a lot of happiness and fun. And what a great price!

2 year old loves it!
I ordered this honestly just to reach the $35 for free shipping on another purchase. It was either pay for shipping which was only like $1-$2 less than this item or get this for next to nothing. I got the stress-free packaging, and you literally just pull the built item out of a box and a plastic sleeve covering it. I'm unsure if ordering with regular packaging would have made much of a difference, but it was nice to have no twist ties or annoying childproof packaging to deal with. Especially since I wrapped it up as an extra gift for my son's 2nd birthday, and there was childproof packaging being undone for a good hour that day. My son immediately took off pushing the toy around. The toy seems sturdy and I'm sure that it will be in good condition when our expected baby is old enough to enjoy it, and probably go on to a family friend after that. The only negative about the product is that my son LOVES to chase our dogs around with it, though that's no fault of the product. It can also get a bit annoying because it is a fairly loud toy, but that is expected with this type of toy. Overall I'm very happy with it, plus it was pretty much free, considering I would have paid nearly the same for shipping on my other item. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this classic toy for a good price.

Classic toy was the hit of the birthday
I got this for my cousin's daughter's first birthday party. After she figured out how to use it, it was the clear favorite. Every single other gift she opened was just a distraction from this amazing toy. She even loved this popper more than the bows and paper. The silly little attention span of a toddler is like that of a goldfish, but with this corn popper, she was consistently remembering that she wanted this toy.She couldn't have loved this more and for longer than if there was a mystical spell placed on it to seduce babies in to playing until they are too tired to stand.

I am a tad disappointed that they feel the need to change a lot ...
Fisher Price has changed so many of the toys from back when. I am a tad disappointed that they feel the need to change a lot of their toys. Why? I have no clue. The popper came in a shipping box but it was not in a box that was made for the popper, instead it was in a plastic bag. The handle has a sticker on it and the sticker had a crinkle in it. I tried to smooth it out. Every child needs a Fisher Price popcorn popper, but like I said I am disappointed that they felt the need to change it so much.

Excellent toy for the price
I bought this for my nephew as a birthday gift as we were on a tight budget, which sadly he did not get for a few weeks due to some personal issues, but as soon as we got it to him he loved it, and so did my daughter. They took turns playing with the toy. It was very easy for them to operate (Both of the kids are 13 months). The kids love the popping sound it makes with the move it. It entertains them and keeps them quiet, in turn keeps us happy. Highly recommended!

Classic toy...still fun...
I had one of these when I was a kid and they haven't changed much...classic toy...the little pop pop pop noise brings back good memories... It works best on carpet....Our granddaughter solved the non-popping problem on hardwood floors by jack hammering it as she walked along.... Son and daughter in law went and bought new carpet runners the week after Christmas.....G'daughter is happy...We get periodic phone calls from Son and DIL to express their thanks and love for this toy......

I bought this for my one year old son. I had one of these as a kid and I love that Fisher-Price re-images these old toys so our children can have their version too :) At first he couldn't get the wheels to turn on our hardwood floors, or even the tile. We applied a light pressure and it worked fine, so I'm sure an older toddler would be able to push it on a slick surface with no troubles. He is able to push it on the carpet just fine, since carpet has a lot of friction for the wheels.
