Ideal for PA at a bargain price
I needed to replace an Audio Technica condenser mic used in the Church PA system. This item performs well. High output and clear speech. Tested with Behringer UMC22 interface into OBS Studio for the demo attached. However, the stand clip is very tight and will be hard to slide in and out. The instruction sheet was rather scanty. No mention of the bass cut switch seen in the photo. Instead of polar diagram there's 5 frequency responses at different angles. The main point is that it has about 20 dB front to back ratio at 1kHz. And the bass cut is 10 dB/octave with 200 Hz turnover.

Uplifting Sound
I bought two of these microphones for our Church reader lecturns to replace the older mics which did not have speech clarity. These Behringer Mics are fantastic they provide clear sound pickup of every speech and are powerful. Exactly what we needed for our church. They are great quality, value for money and do not compromise on sound unlike other more expensive microphone brands out in the market.

Excellent product
This microphone arrived in its original unsealed hard plastic container. I am not sure if that is how Behringer ships it's products to Amazon, anyhow I was considering to send it back to Amazon since I noticed that the microphone mount adapter was already fitted in the microphone holder and it was quite hard to remove... Reason being the metal adaptor had its thread oxidized ... Rather unusual right... This mic is designed by a German company (Behringer) but is made in China... Poor quality control is nothing new there. Anyhow I decided to keep it because it still sound ok and it would have cost me even more to send it back to Amazon... Anyway this mic with it's characteristics is incredibly similar to it's Shure clone and it be very hard to distinguish one from the other... Good deal , excellent quality...

Good on first impression
Solid microphone, not too heavy. Carry case is a bonus. I've plugged it in and on first impressions it is excellent, clarity is good, as is volume, I'll test it out properly this weekend. For those saying the on/off button is missing or difficult to use, this microphone doesn't have an on/off, the switch is a high pass filter on/off - its recessed so you don't accidentally change the setting.

Hard to beat at this price point
Okay, it is a very cheap vocal condenser mic so if you are expecting it to be a kms105, then you shouldn't be buying this. Behringer do good copies on a budget and this is no exception. It is exactly the same as the t.bone MB 78 Beta. It is the same mic re-badged and it is cheaper. Both are copies of the Shure 87A and come pretty close to it. Depending on your needs, this is a good cheap option for your tool box. Can get good result micing acoustic instruments and cabs with a bit of eq. On vocals, perhaps suited better to female voices but again with some eq and compression (and using the mics hi-pass filter), it can work well on most vocals. Highs are sometimes an issue. For the money, it is an exceptionally good value mic to have in your collection. So much so, I have just bought another.

Good mic
This is a very good microphone for the price , picks up more sound near and at a bit of distance , it is louder and needs less amplification than Sure much more expensive as well . Good microphone for the price.

A really awesome cardioid microphone that can use in a performance while retaining details in a vocal like a condenser! Comparable to a shure beta 87, with a way smaller price tag!!

Promosso a pieni voti.

It’s been a month since I got the mic but I get the right cable to connect it without an audio interface
