What is included with this unit?

It has been a while since we received the range finder but as far as we can remember the box included the range finder, battery, a soft sided case a lanyard and the manual

Without tripod adapter and image stabilizer how can unit be held steady enough for long distant measurements?

I find a two handed grip works well up to a point; measuring tree height at 200 yards isn't going to work though unless you're looking at a giant sequoia.

Can this measure bridge height? Looking to use this for boat bridge clearance.

Theoretically yes but Probably not. You have to laser the tree trunk and then the top of tree (or base of bridge). You have to be stationary because it calculates both distances against the angle you are having to use to laser the tree top. Then you add the distance between your eyes and the ground.I am not sure how you would do all that on a boat with any real accuracy.
