This might be the best facial tanning drops ive ever tried and ive tried a lot! I got the Dark color and mix 3 drops in with my normal PM moisturizer and by the 24 hour mark the color is perfect and lasts about 3 days before I need to reapply. The biggest surprise was theres no DHA smell like other products which was great because I loathe that smell. No streaks, no smell, no residue left on hands (after thorough wash)

This is a good tanning drop. You have to mix it with something. It is concentrated and I will say the light is very light. It practically gave me no color. The medium gave me some color so I’m gonna try the dark now, but I just found out after going through two bottles of it the more drops you use the more color you get so I may have been doing it too late, but I mix it with my facial moisturizer and put it on my face sometimes on my arms I don’t think it works as well on my body as it does my face. It’s really good for tanning my face. I haven’t broken out from it and I’m very prone to break out so I’m happy about that But for the price it’s really good and I like that I can mix it with whatever I’m putting on my face, I’m not putting double stuff on.

I’ve used a lot of self-tanners, and the Tanologist Dark Drops are one of the most customizable options I’ve tried. I love that you can mix them into your own moisturizer to control how deep the color develops. Just a few drops give a nice glow, but you can easily build it up for a deeper tan. The color itself is natural and not orange, which is a huge win. It works well on my face and body, and doesn’t break me out or feel sticky. I didn’t notice any strong smell either, which is rare for self-tanners. My only tip is to really mix it well and wash your hands after — it’s easy to miss a spot and get staining. Other than that, it’s an awesome product that gives me a deeper tan without layering on extra product. I’ll keep using it, especially when I want more control over my glow.

I don't really use tanning products so I don't know if this is normal or not, but it seems like you have to figure out a way to fully remove it and reapply every 4 days to avoid looking silly. EDIT: after approximately 5 seconds of Googling I learned that 4 days is a pretty good amount of time - however, even if I try to maintain it by applying 1 drop every other day, it still ends up getting patchy near my eyes and on my neck. I bought this to use as a contour, so it is only applied in some areas on my face (mixed with moisturizer). I am tan already from being outside so it takes the entire dropper to see color, even with buying "dark", but it's important to note it does develop over time (most noticeably within the first 4 hours, but it will continue over the next 18 in my experience - so don't add more if you think it's not dark enough lol). My main issue is after 4 days or so, it starts peeling. It's very obvious and applying more does not stop the process. If anything it makes it look worse, it almost turns that yellowish bruise color. Dry areas and pores end up emphasized as the surrounding area peels off. In the pictures you can see the area under my eye noticeably patchy, and then on my chin the product has settled into some dry patches and flaked off entirely in other areas. Luckily I found mandelic acid takes it off, but it's annoying to have to worry about it looking spotty after a shower, or it coming off further when applying moisturizer or make up. This product can stain light colored fabric despite being clear, so I definitely recommend applying during the day and TO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE or else you'll end up with Cheeto fingers.

USE WITH LOTION! Love these drops. I use 3 mixed with my usual face lotion (The Body Deli - Creme de la Rose) once or twice a week and it looks really natural.

Wife's review: Love, love, love these drops!! I place bottle into jar so it won't tip over....put on my silicone gloves...put lotion into my hand and apply anywhere from 1 to 5 drops depending on body location. I bought MEDIUM drops and I am naturally olive complexion.. I use a drop or two in my face cream and a few drops for each of my limbs and trunk, etc DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO SKIN.....mix with your favorite moisturizer! For darker tone, use daily...I usually apply every third day to maintain even color! Make sure to apply to armpits, neck, ears and surrounding areas plus hairline! I apply before bedtime and wake up tan! Takes about 6 to 8 hours to see results! Don't go overboard until you know how much you need! If you don't apply evenly, streaks could show and look orangy...so massage, massage, massage all-over your skin!
