Nice value priced knife. And not made in China! Taiwan #1
First Ontario knife. I love my essee. Needed a folder and found these. Very smooth action. I'm probably going to mod this with some ferric chloride and throws some new scales and thumbstuds on it. Overall very happy with the product. It was shaving sharp. But just barely. Smooth action. Liner lock works well. Good looking. Overall good product.

Good little knife
Workhorse of a knife. Very happy I went this route and didn't waste money on a more expensive option. This is perfect and I'm not scared to lose or damage it.

Good value for the cost.
Holds an edge fairly well. I changed the geometry to 17 degrees. It’s my EDC.

Been using this model for almost 8 years now
I keep coming back to this knife over and over. I hope it never gets discontinued. First time buying the high viz orange. It's ugly af, but at least it's easier to see on the ground. I'm a maintenance supervisor and abuse my knives. They become pry bars, flat heads, and scrapers. Always filthy and covered in something terrible. I've only snapped the tip off of one once. I turned it into a single bevel blade after that and reprofiled the tip. Used it for two years that way. These knives are easy to mod and have a ton of third party parts you can stick in them like ceramic or titanium shims. No need for any of that if you just want a beater. Price is right and they last forever if you don't lose them in a septic tank.

Great ergo
I got this on a ri-di-culous deal on Amazon and with the reputation I had to check it out, I was not disappointed. First of all I did check against a video that gives you things to look for in a counterfeit, fortunately mine was genuine even with the price I paid. The main thing that stands out is the great ergonomics. I wear a L size glove but don't have the largest hands, this feels perfect even though I also own the Ganzo that is very similar - I think that one might fit someone with somewhat bigger hands. 4 position tip up/down L/R carry. lanyard hole (a bit small) all the basics are there. Great action. I saw one review where it mentions an exposed tip, mine is somewhat close but even intentionally pushing in doesn't get me cut, though obviously if you have fabric or whatever that may push into it that may be an issue but I carry tip up so don't expect that to be an issue.

Get the black one
Of course it’s a great knife. I don’t need to say more. BUT. The orange scales on this knife are horrible. They look washed out and cheap. Get the black scale version.

Tough tough tough knife!
AUS-8 is a good steel, but since the knife is built tough enough to outlive us I wish it was made with something like 154cm blade material. That said, I’m sure I’ll use this for camping, hiking and work, and when that’s all done for me I’ll hand it down to my son.

Awsome knife
Absolutely a beast. I've had like 5 or 6 given as gifts just can't beat the price. Every one I've bought has been aus 8 steel and it's fun to sharpen
