CAP Barbell Olympic 2-Inch 3-Grip Cast Iron Plate, Single

This plate is easy to handle with the grip holes. This plate is just under 15.5 inch diameter and about 6.75 inch off the ground when used on a 2 inch olympic bar. The plate I received was actually about 43 pounds pushing 44 pounds. The paint around the middle was already scratched. I don't like that it's not exactly 45 pounds or even 44 pounds, but most brands that do sell accurate weights also charge a premium over dollar per pound so this is a compromise. Finally the flat edges are uncommon and may not level with round 45 pound plates that go opposite it on a bar so keep that in mind. Overall, this is a reasonable product for the price.

I ordered a pair of 45's, 35's and 25's, the 35s came today. These plates are really nice I am impressed with them. They are shaped great for anti-roll, the hand holes are big enough to fit your whole hand in to grab onto it even with a glove and are comfortable to hold for a while while doing things like oblique bends and what not and also have great shape for grip. My 35's are true to weight and I expect the rest will be as well. They have a great finish with a gloss clear coat like protective coating that feels and looks really nice, and they fit perfectly snug on my Olympic bar and do not spin around if left loose on the bar for doing bench press. Would definitely buy again and will likely buy a couple more pairs

These weight plates are very nice, they are a bit smaller in diameter that other 35 lb plates which is nice when using them with land mine rows. They are also easy to load and off load from the bar with the grip holes

I carry two of them in my gym bag stuffed into mismatched sweat socks so they don't clank or chip. 2.5 lb plates are hard to find at my gym and I like to increase my workout loads in 5 lb increments. I have not weighed them, but they appear to be reasonably accurate, and they fit just fine on a standard olympic bar -- not much to go wrong, nor much more to ask of a weight plate. The grey color is easily differentiated from the black plates at the gym. I also added a large name sticker so I don't lose them.

Ok, i received these 45 lb. non-twelve sided plates in the mail yesterday. They are bery nice plates; however, they are not what i ordered. I ordered the twelve sided 45 lb. plates because i did not want them to roll. I am not returning them and will keep these two round sided plates as they are nice plates all the same, especially for the cost. So, for accuracy and not sending me what i ordered, i give a one star as that is simply wrong. As for the value for the money, i give them five stars.

I ordered 2 35 pd weights and the one was close to the the right weight while the other was over 4 almost 5 pds off! I thought it was in my head at first till i weighed them. Very disappointed. Exspensive weights and they arent even accurate.

I bought a weight bench from Amazon and needed weights. After reviewing many products and reviews i decided on this brand. 100 % satisfied. Slid right on bar and havnt had problem since.

These are solid plates for the price and, for example, add that extra weight you may want for that fourth; or sixth; final set.
