For the price of nine bucks, the ease of installation, and being able to get it at my front door free of shipping the next day, it's worth it. If you're looking for a high end product, this is not the one. Knowing what I know now, I probably would've chosen a more expensive better quality product. Since I had it and was so easy to install, I kept it. NB: If the hole is greater than 1" diameter, don't buy this product because it would not cover a hole greater than that. The threaded tube looks to be about 3/4" and the base plate about 1 1/4" diameters respectively. Hope this helps. Edit: Excellent customer service, very responsive. I was refunded for my purchase. Would purchase from this vendor again based on their willingness to go the extra mile. I suggested that they update the product diagram to indicate the diameter dimensions of the threaded screw part and the cover plate.
