I bought these microphones to do an Upwork project and they were awesome. They were also incredibly cheap for all that I received. It came with two microphones which was great since there were two of us talking in the conversation. It makes the sound quality so much clearer. It was easy to set up and use as well! Worked well with my iPhone! Highly recommend!

I received this product for review from the manufacturer; however, my reviews are always honest and forthright. First, the price is amazing! The construction is sturdy. The packaging was excellent. You have the ability to plug directly into your headphone jack, or your USB, OR utilize the USB smartcard and plug in the mic and your headset. I could not hear my voice in real-time, and the playback was just one channel. Sound quality. I utilized the mic in several applications; ie, Quicktime, Youtube, Photobooth, and Zoom. I place the mic on the desk and I place the mic in a boom stand with a pop filter. Keep this in mind.....the microphone is a condenser mic and picks up lots of background noise. Placed on the desk, the mic would be very suitable for a Zoom meeting, or classroom tasks. I reach for a living; thus, this will work just fine. Placed in the boom stand with a pop filter, and your face very close to the mic, provides the best results in my opinion. I also create podcasts, and this format would do well. Overall, a very decent mic for the price with variable avenues for utility. Virtual applications such as Zoom, or Teams. Virtual communication with friends and family such as Skype. I do not game, so I cannot comment. Podcast and Youtube videos if the mic is close to your mouth works well because you lose some of that tinny sound quality. I own this company's lavalier mic and it also works great for virtual meetings. A solid choice to get started on your new adventures.

The microphone arrived promptly and in safe, secure packaging. Everything needed to get it up and running was right there, with helpful directions included as well. The microphone truly was plug and play, and functions well both plugging directly into the 3.5 mm jack, or into the included USB adapter/headphone splitter. The microphone appears high quality. The black metal housing is sturdy and professional looking, and the base is secure and allows for a nice range of motion. It would benefit from a felt or silicone covering on the bottom, but it is not lacking without. The cord is long enough for a variety of setups to be feasible. As for sound quality, it is a surprisingly high quality microphone for the cost. It performs well even when not directly facing the subject, though it is superior when straight on. It may not compete with top of the line microphones, but at a fraction of the price it is hard to compare accurately. As for the negative, it seems that the USB microphone/headphone splitter has a boost applied to the headphone and forces the volume to be turned down in order to be at a normal volume. This is potentially user error, but it was an interesting issue to run into. That said, because this is peripheral to the microphone itself it does not greatly impact the rating.

This mic is great for anybody who is just starting out with podcasting, voice acting, music, gaming, anything really! It's design is very simple and straight forward, it's a sleek black mic that comes with an adjustable base and doesn't take up much space. So far, I've been using this mic when I want to record a vocal idea quickly without having to open my DAW program ( I just open up windows voice recorder app), and the quality of the audio is surprisingly clear for what looks to be a very basic mic. The sound quality is very flat and direct, so if you are using it for podcasts or music, you will have to do a bit more work to get the vocals to "sit correctly" in your mixes as compared to a more professional mic such as the MXR or Yeti mics. The only issue I had with this mic is that I could not get it to work without using the USB sound card they included with it. I have an HP Envy Notebook that has a black dual "headset" aux port for using with headphones with a mic, this microphone did not work with the dual headset port. When I plugged it in, the computer would detect something was in the hole, however, the actual mic was never detected by windows. I tried multiple fixes (including the steps laid out in the provided manual) to no avail. But, the mic works just fine if I use the provided USB soundcard (and the headphone port on the soundcard has clear playback as well). Overall, I'd say this mic is perfect for anybody who is thinking about doing any sort of recording and doesn't want to spend a ton of money just to play around. It can also be used for more professional work with minimal editing, for something such as podcasts or music. For those wishing to use it for gaming, the mic picks up your voice extremely well without having to be directly in front of it, so it may be best to place the mic a bit further away from your mouth.

I got this mic on February 2020 for my daughter's virtual classes. It works perfectly, the sound quality is impeccable 👌. I got it for $13.00 CAD at the time, couldn't find anything better for that price Nd after a few months I saw the price sky rocketed to over $80.00 CAD. I WAS SHOCKED!! To me it was a great value for money spent. It is still working perfectly. Love it!

Amazing product for the price. I've been using this microphone now for a few weeks and I love it. The sou d quality is great. It's very clear with absolutely no distortion. I use it on a boom above my head and with it about 1 ft away from me I am able to be heard very clearly even if I whisper. I would smdefinutely recommend this microphone to others, especially if you are using it for zoom meetings or YouTube videos.

Just opened this item for use and it doesn't work. Was purchased as a backup mic and it can't even function

Can you find better? Yes. For cheaper? Good luck. Works great, looks sharp on the desk, and my friends have stopped complaining about my bad mic. Everything has a sturdy build quality, the mic body is metal and the base is good plastic. I think there is a weight in the base, it holds the mic fine wherever you put it.
