Durablow IR Heating Heater Element Replacement HS-30000216 for Heat Surge, Real Flame Electric Fireplace (Heating Element Only)

Size wise it was a perfect fit but the wiring connectors were not the same as the unit they were to be installed on. It took a little modification and everything was heating up again. Element worked great

works as expected. I replaced the broken IR element in my costco electric fireplace. It took a little work to make it fit. But it gets the job done. This is not a job for anyone who dosent have some basic understanding of control circuits.

Not like my original we had to do some finagling but its running excellently now. Also had to replace the switch that was as original but low is high etc.

Works great when I figured out the wiring. Would have rated 5 stars if it had instructions

This product was exactly what I ordered. Fit and worked great.

I purchased the heater element, I wasn't sure of what to expect, due to cost. I was afraid the element would be not be any good. I was wrong, the element was light in weight and came without installation instructions. I notified Amazon that I need instruction and within a few days received PDFs of product and instructions. The Element was very easy to wire and install. I was not sure if I would be able to install element without any problems. I took pictures of the existing element wiring and wired it the same way, along with studying supplied files. Tested unit outside for about four hours before installing into cabinet. Element has been working several weeks now and no problems, great product. Existing company, I purchase unit from was not helpful at all and wanted me to purchase a new unit for $300.00, they stated that computer was the problem. I purchased the new element for less than $10.00. I can't purchase another 30 more units at that cost. I would definately refer this product to a friend.

Product was defective and did not work after installing and will not be returning for the 6.69 for it took almost two hours installing!

Had to modify the item to fit the existing wiring but it works. The power connections on one side are connected as normal. From the switch connect to the PCB. Cut of both tags on the other side and crimp connect to make this work. Model ADL-2000M-X

This Durablow IR Heater element allowed me to save my favourite fireplace heater. When in use the original element had developed a burning smell. I was very happy this element was available to purchase. Replacement of the old element was fairly straightforward. The wires are the same colour as the old ones however the ends were different than the original. I simply cut the offending connectors off and used twist on wire connectors. Three connectors were required. Now it operates as good as new!

Replacement Heat element. Returned it as it was a wrong fit.

Item as advertised

The new heater has 3 wires on it, but my old unit had only 2 wires coming from it. Which wires do you pair with what? Need instructions, don’t want to burn it out. Can anyone share?
