They are modern looking as opposed to some of the old tired looking low voltage light designs. They cast light perfectly to the ground in an approximate 3 - 4 foot diameter. I did not use the connectors provided with the lights. I purchased different connectors to add a bit more robustness for cold to warm weather conditions. Easy to install and they look elegant at night.
