Absolutely brilliant
Absolutely brilliant. I bought to use with my teenage clients but my children absolutely love them. They really help to engage, especially with teenagers that are withdrawing from conversation. A fab tool to have

Social skills fun
I bought this to work with teens and teens in our therspy centre. Lots of variety for discussion. The presentation is also appealing to the audience who love the emoji.

Suitable for 16+
I'm a Mindfulness Practictioner and I'm always looking for new ways to get the kids I work with to express themselves. I found these cards not suitable at all, some questions are good but equally if you work with kids, I would say most of the questions would make them feel very uncomfortable. Suitable for 16+

Thoyght it was really expensive to purchase from USD to AUD. However, I was really suprised that the game includes 1 free game to choose if you scan the code. I hope the free game actually gets delivered to me.

This is an awesome game! I have been an intensive in-home counselor for almost a year now, and adding this game to my growing collection was a great decision. This works for me when I’m building rapport with teens and their families. I think even just playing with my friends would be fun too! The cards range from easy, sometimes goofy “Chill” questions, to more in-depth “Chat” questions, then to the seriously introspective, comprehensive and deep “Challenge” questions. The instructions on how to play are super clear, for both the simple conversation version and the point-based competition version. I also love how the instructions are laminated! The cards’ and box’s construction are also very durable, which is super. The only thing I wish could be different about this game is the illustration on the front. I love the use of the emojis, but the cartoon drawings of the family on the front seem like too much. It features a white family, with a mother and father, and the two teens are a girl and a boy. I wish that illustration wasn’t even there, because most of the families I have worked with so far - from a variety of demographics - don’t look like that. I understand that having them pictured can illustrate the divide between the parents and teens that the game is trying to help with, but I would have preferred just the emojis and the title. That not only would look more polished, but it would also prevent any awkwardness when the teens I work with see it and know their family doesn’t look like that. Overall, this game is great! I will be recommending it to my coworkers at the next staff meeting. 😁

As a therapist I used this game for the first time with a small group of young adults having social anxiety. I chose to use only the teen chat and chill cards as the challenge cards were a little too challenging for a first meeting. The group responded very well as the cards really helped to break the ice and foster some deep discussions among the group members. I gave the option to pass on a question and choose a different question if the player wasn't comfortable with the first question selected. This turned out to have been a good decision as it kept the process more comfortable and fostered a greater sense of social safety. I would definitely recommend this game for both home and therapeutic use.

It's a GREAT game for our family conversations at the dinner table! However, it's especially good for my son with ADHD, who struggles a bit with social skills and contributing to group conversations. This is a great way to help with that, as well as spend quality time together as a family.
