Great glittery black for high fire
Love this glaze. I use it at a community kiln fired to cone 6, and with 4 coats it came out great on several projects. Cool shimmery black that breaks dark bronze on texture. I did not have any issues with this glaze running (which I definitely can't say the same for some of the other "Cosmic" glazes).

Amaco Sienna on Standard 112 Clay
I am so excited to see this color come out of the kiln and I will update this with a picture of it on a piece of Standard 112 midfire clay. It seemed like the perfect color for fall and pumpkins. Amaco always makes great colors (especially PC). It was easy to apply and went on smoothly. I am excited to see what it looks like fired. Amaco glazes always seem a bit pricey to me, but do always have good results- so we will see!

Great glaze, didnt run!
As a beginner hobby potter, I was nervous about buying glazes and having them run in the studio kiln and damaging the shelves. I just got my first pieces out and not one had a run! I did 9 bowls with this glaze and they range from light blue with green to a more turquoise color. I thinned it down a little with water because it was pretty thick when i got it and i think those pieces turned out better. Easy to brush on!

Shimmery
I love the color of this glaze. It’s like a glittery black. Very high gloss and shimmery. I like to add reds and gold to give a great color combo when using this.

Sparkly, a little temperamental, but worth the buy.
This is one of my favorite glazes to work with but it can also be temperamental. It works well over the Obsidian celadon by the same manufacturer! Here’s some tips for the best outcome: Thoroughly stir the jar before each layer. Allow each layer to dry evenly before the next layer. Apply at least four layers. This glaze is translucent brown with shimmer, and becomes more solid and sparkly the thicker it goes on. In my testing, 4-6 layers seem to be the sweet spot. Most of all, have fun! This is definitely a glaze you’ll need to test, but it’s beautiful when it comes out right. 🧚🏻♀️

Great glaze
Amaco does not fail. Bought from Blick Art Materials if I remember correctly-they are my go to for glazes. Fired at cone 6 in an electric kiln, lovely flow, breaks beautifully and for my purposes benefits from three coats generously applied. Love this!

Midnight, meaning DARK
Even using 3 coats, at first glance this could be mistaken as black. With a slightly closer look, you’ll see a nice deep navy blue in this glaze. Only applying 1-2 coats and it's even darker, & mainly black, but it probably will be patchy with some semi-transparent spots. Best results in my opinion is to go all in with 3 coats. It also has a slight texture; the color is plenty opaque, however, it has an almost grainy texture visually, which I love. I love dark glazes, so I was very happy with the results. If you're looking for something "medium" in value, this is not for you.
