And, it's a bit disappointing in that respect....I actually purchased a different brand (not from Amazon) about a month ago, with green lighting, and I liked it so much I wanted to get a lighted cord for use in my car, as well as at the office, but the brand wasn't here on Amazon, and it was no longer sold where I bought it, so I started wading through reviews to find a lighted USB cord. I really wanted blue lighting more than green anyway, so I tried this one, and another cord, from Foxnovo.The problem with this cord being white is that the inner blue lights just do not stand out that much. They do, yes, in the dark, but even then these lights are just not as bright as the Foxnovo, which I ordered at the same time as this one, and it is only a dollar more than this one (and has free shipping through Prime).So, no points deducted here for function -- just one star down for personal preference that the lighting is rather dim, and not very rich in color, so not quite the same "wow" factor, plus the lighting is further washed out by the white cord, which doesn't provide contrast for the lights and I make that deduction based on comparison to the very similar, but superior, Foxnovo cord (which also has a lightning connection, for iPhones, meaning my niece can also charge her phone when needed).I would not buy this again, since, for me, the Foxnovo is a better cord -- provides the same function, but much better lights inside, which is what I was looking for in a lighted cord.Hope this helps! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great product! *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2016* I bought this a few months ago and I wanted to use it a while before I gave a review. This is definitely a conversation piece! People see this and they love it. The lights flowing from the charging source to the unit being charged is very cool. It also pulses from fast to slow depending on how much power is needed. The light isn't too bright to blind you while driving at night. That being said, if your looking for a club lighting effect, this isn't for you. It is very durable. I have plugged and unplugged it many times and it's still functioning fine.The ONLY thing that I have seen to be a bit of a hassle, but not a deal breaker is the USB port (the bigger end) won't fit into some radio USB ports because of the expanded white part. It works better in a flat USB charging port.
