Vileda Spin & Clean Spin Mop and Bucket Set with 360° Spinning Mop Head

I've always got down on my hands and knees to clean floors as I have always felt that is the only assurance of really having a clean floor, but, faced with a larger floor area, I started to consider a mop set. Having used those huge floppy mops that come with great big buckets once or twice in the past, I was not interested in such a thing. They always seem to slosh loads of water all over the place and they are very unwieldy, and the mop itself strikes me as dirty all the time, plus you cannot really clean it properly. Nor can you easily change the water as the whole thing is so cumbersome. So when I saw this and read about how you can rinse off all the water by spinning it, and that it was compact and fitted neatly into, for example, the undersink cupboard (including the pole, which disassembles), I thought I would give it a go. Well, what a hit! The children fight over who wants to use it. It's really cool, easy to use, and incredibly effective. You can rinse the mop really easily and thoroughly by spinning it, the water can be changed really easily, if needed, and best of all, you can put the mop head in the washing machine afterwards so you know it is spotlessly clean every time you use it. I bought some replacement non-Vileda mops for when the one supplied wears out, but honestly, they are thinner and inferior. I haven't used one yet as I won't need to for quite some time, but I intend to pay the extra for the Vileda ones as they are much better. At £21, I did not think this mop set unreasonable. It is fun, effective, efficient, compact and easily stored. Another product that I can give top marks to, unusually in a world in which the customer usually feels ripped off, abused, dissatisfied and disappointed. Well done, Vileda!

The only negative is the pole itself. It will not spin the mop when it loosens at the point where the parts join together, Once tightened up it will spin around in the bucket. On the positive side. It gives your arms a work out and clean the floor well. Goes from being able to putting a lot of soapy water on to taking it all off when it's spun about 20 times which takes off all the excess.it clean and scrubs at the same time. Easily washed in the washer, and I bought replacement pads from Amazon.

I needed a mop for my new home and I had Vileda before so I stuck with the brand. Previously I had a bucket with two compartments; one to spin-dry the mop and the other one for water. While this product is okay, it isn't the best nor the cheapest. I found the exact product I previously had at half the price at a local Tesco. Regardless, it does the job. Don't overfill the bucket with water; I fill a bit below the mark and dip sides of the mop in the bucket before spinning it. I like that the head folds which helps you clean hard-to-reach spaces. I bought it and I learnt how to use it so I am keeping it. However, I likely would have bought a different product from Vileda had I been in the same position again.

This mop is not easy to use, the side that folds up to reach into corners folds as your mopping. The handle was wonky from when it came out of the box making it hard to spin the water out to mop the floor. I found this a total waste of money If there was 1 positive that is the bucket is very handy to carry

I have found this product disappointing and not worth the money. The mop head itself is great, easy to clean and good for cleaning the kicker boards and skirting. However, the handle doesn't tighten up enough. It is constantly coming loose and falling apart which makes the task of mopping the floor a lengthy one. It is also difficult to unclip from the base when using the spin action which results in water slopping out of the bucket. For the money and the brand name I would have expected better.

Easy click-together assembly. When you first assemble it you might notice that as well as an up and down motion, you need to twist the handle mechanism for it to move - in fact it will naturally follow this twist as you move it up and down, in turn twisting your hand awkwardly. You might notice that it seems very cumbersome and uncomfortable and not at all as easy as it is made out to be in the promo video. You might then realise after 10 minutes of slowly growing more irate that you're an absolute moron, that the mop head and handle spins when you have it in the bucket but will not when you have it flush on the floor and that the reason you're having to twist your arm is because youre holding the spinny bit steady and trying to make the steady bit spinny. I did not do that of course, but your experience may vary, Besides that it's a mop. If used dry it will make a wet floor dry. If used wet it will make a dry floor wet. It will also make a wet floor more wet. Used dry on a dry floor will not make the floor more dry. Basically,. whichever of the two states your floor is in just put the mop in the other state and it will do the job, unless you want to make a wet floor wetter then you should use the mop in the same state the floor is in, unless the floor is dry in which case only use it wet. Another benefit is that it subverts expectations - where we all accepted that the future would involve household robots that can be used to 'provide relief' yet in fact it is YOU the consumer who will find yourself attempting to provide a household tool with a happy ending which is a nice change from the norm. Product is not edible and can be kept with up to 4 others of it's kind in 5ft vivarium.

The best floor mop ever! Seriously this has been such a godsend. Works exceptionally well on muddy dog prints. Even if the dog prints have gone unnoticed and started to dry (I leave my back door open when Im wfh so my dogs can cone and go as they please). Easy to put together. Easy to fill and empty. Easy to dry off the pad or wet it. I retwist the parts together every couple of weeks to prevent them coming apart takes a few seconds. Spins really well slow for wetting fast for drying. Perfect size for everyone in the house from 5' to over 6'.

Does a great job and no more squeezing. Floors dry quickly because the spin is so good and great with the hinge so can clean along skirting boards

Very practical, space saver

Montato nel modo giusto è semplicissimo da usare,basta mettere l acqua fino al livello indicato e pochissimo detergente,facendolo girare piano si sciacqua e bagna il panno, mentre facendolo girare veloce si strizza e i pavimenti vengono puliti e senza aloni e si asciugano in un attimo! Basta imparare ad usarlo,ed è comodissimo anche per pulire muri e piastrelle del bagno! TOP!
