Product was as expected and arrived on time. I actually never used these but have used the same type of product many times in the past working as a commercial electrician and I can attest that the quality is good and they would do the job. These kind of fixtures are very easy to install and function well. They fit a standard edison base light bulb.

I love these and not so high priced will be ordering from them again

Just two things could be better. 1.) Sockets rattle around a bit, in their cases. Used to be, there was paper sleeve for that. Similar to a piece of toilet paper tube. I put in 2 shims 3/8" x 1+1/4" from soda box, to firm it up. Not convenient but it works. Secondly, the hollow stems are plastic. I got 36" long piece of metal threaded lamp tubing to cut lengths needed. Much solider.

These sockets are easy to assemble and fit my situation very well. Just pay attention to the order you slide pieces onto electric cord. A little tougher if your electric cord is larger diameter.

These sockets are perfectly functional, and I appreciate the inclusion of the plastic rod, but I'm skeptical of a few things. There's no strain relief in these at all - tension applied to the cable is directly transmitted to the screw. Secondly, the inner socket is wobbly, and insulated from the metal shell only by the paint on the shell. I'd worry that sufficient use or extended vibration could wear the paint down, energizing the shell. I've heard that some folks wrap the inner socket in electrical tape, though I'm wary of heat accumulation with larger bulbs. Ultimately, I'm using these in some lamp/lantern projects where I'm able to add external strain relief and protect the socket from physical contact. However, I'd caution the use of these in an exposed scenario, such as a pendant in which wind might jostle the bulbs over time.

Using these in an outdoor gazebo. Plenty of coverage from the elements. Worked okay. Tight fit getting the small round cover to slide over the wires. Electrical tape sealed the deal.
