Love this notebook
This little notebook is great. I use fountain pens. It does ghost a little bit, but the paper is a nice quality. I don’t like the color, however- it’s a dark enough cream to shift all my ink colors, which kinda sucks. That’s not enough to deter me from buying more in the future though! The paper has a slight texture so if you like the tactile feeling of textured paper this is a good choice. Paper is a nice thin QUALITY paper for those of us who like thinner paper. I wish it came with a line guide, but it didn’t. my inks don’t bleed on it, so that’s good. It’s small enough that I can tuck it into my jacket pocket or my jeans pockets, which is great. All in all, a great notebook and I’ll definitely get another once this one is out of paper

A beautiful, functional, fountain pen friendly notebook
I love this notebook. The paper is a beautiful shade of off-white. It’s not a full on cream like you get with a Moleskine, it’s half way between cream and white. Off-white. It’s a great color. The paper is also fountain pen friendly. It can handle pretty much any kind of ink or pigment without bleed through. There’s always some show-through (not bleeding) on the other side of the page no matter what paper you use (unless it’s some really thick sketch paper) but with the MD paper it is as minimal as you’ll ever get. It’s smooth as glass and a joy to write with a fountain pen on. I’m the kind of person who likes to keep a notebook with me pretty much everywhere I go to journal or jot down ideas and the A6 size is definitely portable (it’s the size of a paperback book, an inch or two bigger than a pocket size Moleskine on either side) but I’m not comfortable using it as my “every day carry” notebook. The card stock cover doesn’t offer a lot of protection if you’re traveling with it so be sure to get a cover for it if you plan to take this with you out of the house often (they offer nice card stock and leather covers with built in retractable pen holder). That’s not to say the cover isn’t well made. It is. It’s beautiful and really lets you focus on the notebook’s purpose: writing. And it’s a beautiful object. Smooth paper, great presentation, opens up flat, and fountain pen friendly.

Best little notebook
I've purchased three of these (at different times) because I love them so much! The pocket size and the thickness of the paper is what I love the most. I like the plain paper as well because I not only write but do a lot of art and artjournal type of journaling on them. The paper takes all kinds of inks and don't bleed through, or ghost. I've been impressed for awhile. Will continue to buy.

Great Small Unlined Notebook
I purchased the Midori Unruled MD Notebook, to use as a small sketchbook when I am travelling. It's a Japanese A6 size - about 5.75 inches tall and 4.125 inches wide. The paper is nice and smooth and takes most pens and pencils well and doesn't bleed through. It can take light watercolor washes - the paper will buckle slightly, but for me it is not a deal breaker. This size fits into my travel bag with ease. You will want to make or purchase a Midori A6 size book cover because the cover is made of a cream color cardstock and could get beat up over time. I have used the Midori A6 size book cover and it keeps my notebook covers clean and also provides a place to store my bits and pieces while I trave. This notebook won't disappoint!
