This is a pretty nice item for the price. It’s made of thick, painted particle board (not plastic) and takes about 15 minutes to put together. You just align the holes and screw in a total of 8 screws. You’ll need a Phillips-head screwdriver & a hammer (to firmly attach decorative caps to the screws). Not rocket science at all. The item does come with brackets for affixing it to a wall for greater stability. I didn’t find that necessary to do; I put 2 units side-by-side in our entryway and the shelves are heavy enough that they don’t tip over easily If you have very young children and are worried about them tipping it over, you’d want to take that extra step & mount these to the wall, particularly if you’re stacking 2 or more units. (Each unit has 2 shelves and is less than 18” off the ground.) In terms of shoe storage capacity, our family has shoe sizes ranging from a youth 2 to a men’s 10. Each of these units holds 9 pairs of kid’s/women’s shoes or 6 pairs of men’s shoes. Overall, these are a nice addition to our home. Nothing fancy, but they look solid and like “real furniture.”

Okay, so I know this is a shoe rack, but I used it to elevate my son’s hamster habitat and it fits PERFECT in his room! It was very easy to put together and quickly. I am not a very picky person so the little imperfections weren’t something that upset me. I know others are particular (which is totally fine!) so I figured I’d include that in the review. I would not trust to put a lot of weight on this or something relatively “heavy”. I had an issue where my toddler stepped on the shelf while I was building it and he broke it like it was nothing. But it was only one side, I swapped out the boards and put some support under it and called it a day. All in all I like the shelf! It does what it needs and it looks nice! The color is also very pretty.

I bought this shoe shelf for a closet. It was easy to put together. Holds about 6 pairs of shoes and 3 more underneath. Seems sturdy enough to hold shoes and not fall apart.

I have been looking for a nice looking shoe rack to help me organize the clutter of shoes in entryway closet. My budget was small so I started scowling amazon for a deal. Everything I was finding in my price range looked cheap and was made of plastic until I found this shelf. I feel like this was the perfect find! It really looks high quality but was an awesome price. Below are the pros and cons I have found with the product. Pros: 1) Easy Assembly- It took my husband about 2 minutes to put together. There were only 4 pieces and the holes were already drilled so it was as simple as can be. It came with one sheet of directions that were clear and easy to follow. 2.) Sturdy- My biggest fear was it was going to be flimsy and fall apart quickly. This is definitely not the case! The wood seems sturdy and appears to be expensive. No body would guess that I actually got it for $13. 3.) Nice Color- I ordered the Espresso and I am loving the way it looks! It also is great because it hides dirt. My kids like to jump in the mud and then throw their shoes in the closet so I am glad that the color really hides a lot. Cons: 1.) Made out of Laminated Plywood- The product does not look or feel like it is plywood but it is. I don't think anyone will ever know though!

I ordered this shelving unit to provide additional storage for my shoes. I already own the exact same unit and it works like a dream. I measured beforehand to be sure I ordered the right one, it's the same brand, same color, everything. It was delayed in transit. Things happen, but it wound up being a week late. Once it arrived, I was eager to get it assembled and put it to use. One of the long boards that acts as a shelf came with no predrilled holes... at all. I had to get a drill bit, drill my own holes, and hope for the best. Even after drilling my own holes, the screws completely split the board... in all four attachment spots. So ultimately, I got the top shelf and sides put together, but the second shelf was broken and warped and just sort of sitting on top of the screws after they split through the board itself. Whatever, I decide to still give it a shot... and it's not the dimensions it said it was. It didn't fit. It was a huuuge struggle to get it into place, and I ended up having to use a rubber mallet to get it even CLOSE to being in the right spot because, as I said, it doesn't fit, despite having more than a 1/4" of clearance on each side per the measurements I took. All in all, a horrible experience, an ugly, broken final product. I'm glad it's shoved into a closet where I don't have to look at it. Do not recommend.

It's durable, does the job of storing shoes. Can tightly fit 3 pairs of shoes on each shelf, or 2 pairs if you want comfortable space between each pair. Pros: - Easy to install. - Heavy/strong boards, very durable overall. - Simple, clean look, exactly as shown in photos. - Great price/value. Cons: - Vertical space of the shelf is fairly small. If you have heels, boots, or "tall" sneakers, you can only place it ontop of the rack.

Es muy fácil de armar, muy práctico para poner zapatos, queda limpio y estético por su simplicidad. Se pueden hacer módulos y es bastante estable.

Very nice presentation. Sturdy and easy to assemble. I stacked up two of these vertically, and removed the middle shelf from one, and then attached the two with a plywood in the back for support, and wa la, it has turned into a bookcase with room in the middle rack (with one shelf removed) for larger/ taller items like a record player. and a decoration piece. Something like this is priced at around $152 even at Amazon. With these two attached, I got the entire bookcase for only $26+26+ tax. Highly recommend it for its quality.

Lo usé para ponerlo sobre mi tocador y organizar mejor mis cremas, maquillaje,etc. Bastante sólido a pesar de ser de los que se arma y que casi siempre quedan balanceándose. Funcionó perfecto y me gustó que se arma en menos de 5 minutos.
