TYC Side Marker Light As - 18-1153-40

My old markers were rotted away, disintegrated in my hands like a scene from the mummy, just a pair of wires left. Tried to buy used but unavailable, and couldn’t stomach the big prices at land cruiser parts places. For a lark tried amazon and found these. They aren’t as nice as the nla 24v units, but more than adequate replacement for my truck. I pressed in some led bulbs and good to go.

This is a well made product. It comes with gender (RIGHT or LEFT), make sure you order the correct one. It also comes with screws and a high quality water gasket. From the factory, these have a plastic shell that mates to the same trapezoid shape hole in the sheet metal. The two I purchased, both RIGHT & LEFT had the factory correct electrical connectors (which also have gender, passenger side or driver side) but the plastic body was incorrect. HOWEVER, this does not effect installation, they install and work great. It is worth your money just to get the gasket!

Re-pop but fit as expected. No issues as works on my 30+ year old Toyota.

These fit my fj60 perfect. My old ones crumbled as i took them off. These screwed right in and connector was same as oem connector. Highly recommend for your old fj60, fj62, etc. 10/10!

This replacement lamp assembly is as close to the original for my 1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser as one could get without it having come direct from Toyota. The lamp assembly was well-packed and included the lens, the socket/pigtail/connector, the screws, replacement nylon inserts that fit the body openings and act as "nuts" for the screws, and even the required bulb. The only noticeable differences from the original were the following: 1. A real plus: the pigtail/connector assembly is at least twice as long as the original. 2. A tiny difference only someone wanting a concours-award-quality restoration would care about: The rubber that holds the lens is not quite as deep and doesn't appear as flat as the original where it overlaps the back of the lens.

Not only did it fit perfectly.. it is also made from soft plastic. almost rubber like. The OEM unit would bake under the engine bay temps and hot summers and become brittle and brake apart as soon as you got into some of them washboard roads in the desert... Great price too...!!!

I got both the driver and passenger side marker lights for my 1984 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser and I couldn't be happier. They included all necessary items to install them. They plugged right into the cord without a hitch. 20 minutes for both sides start to finish. Make sure you look at the back of the gasket, there is an outline that matches the shape of the marker light opening. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
