I like the packaging
I have been using Hylamide SubQ for 2 weeks. I have dry cheeks that are aggravated in the winter, and my regular moisturizer wasn't quite cutting it. I now apply this under my moisturizer, and since using it, the skin on my cheeks has thickened and not been so sensitive. Supposedly this product will balance your internal moisture balance in 2 weeks on its own, but I didn't want to use only this product and wait as my skin was so dry and uncomfortable without moisturizer. Maybe I will try doing that in the summer. I used to have a lot of scaliness that could only be seen after applying foundation. Since using Hylamide SubQ, I have not had issues with scaliness and having to exfoliate my already dry and sometimes irritated skin. I don't get a buildup of excess skin cells on my oilier T zone either. Hylamide SubQ has balanced my skin and gotten rid of the need to over exfoliate.I like the packaging. Some have complained about the dropper getting drippy, but that has never happened to me. I pull it out of the bottle, put 3 drops in the palm of my hand, and put the dropper back in the bottle with no problem.I do not have a lot of skin problems besides the dry cheeks and was looking for something more preventative, as I am in my mid 30s. I like the ingredients and pricing of this product. I did a lot of research on Hylamide and Deciem, their parent company, before buying. I feel this product is one of the better serums on the market, and I have tried quite a few over $100 products. I like that Hylamide focuses on repairing and balancing the skin, rather than irritating it and causing inflammation to induce repair. Long term inflammation causes more aging over time, so products like harsh acids can cause more aging if used for long periods without rest periods. As for being anti-wrinkle and anti-aging, it may have some effects, but those are harder to fix with something you just put on your face. I find that sleeping on my back does more to prevent wrinkles than any cream or serum. Also, a good diet and hydration are key. One of the major Dermatologists in New York City who does a lot of Botox and peels and has very high end clients says that diet does more to give his clients a glow and good skin than what he does in the office. Biotivia's Pteromax, which is a resverotrol and super antioxidant supplement helps my skin heal quickly from sun exposure in the summer and is good general anti-aging for the entire body, not just the face (Biotivia supplies the scientific researchers doing the actual studies with their resveratrol- not all resveratrol products are the same quality).I will use this bottle until it is done, then I may wait a few weeks before reordering. I find that I often don't appreciate what a product does for me until I stop using it for a while. The best products take time to work and keep on working for you. Deciem's founder says that Hylamide SubQ will help you see results quickly and is packed with a lot ingredients to address a lot of different issues. If you want more long term prevention and positive results, his Niod line has some more concentrated copper peptide compounds. I decided to try this first as it is more affordable and works more quickly. I have really liked having thicker skin on my cheeks and having them be less ruddy and irritated.

Counterfeit product.
I used to buy this when CVS carried it and still have a bit left of the real hylamide to compare this to:This product has a yellow tint, a scent, is runny and leaves a film behind. The real hylamide is completely clear, with no scent and absorbs beautifully. This is obviously counterfeit. Also, the perforations in the interior of the box were broken, and the bottle was loose in the box.I can’t return it yet because it’s not showing as delivered, giving a delivery date of Feb 3rd. Wonder if withholding delivery confirmation is part of the scam so this seller doesn’t have to provide refunds??

I bought this on my own volition because I like the parent company
I didn't receive any kind of discount for this review or product. I bought this on my own volition because I like the parent company, Deciem.I love trying new products I read about in SkincareAddiction and AsianBeauty reddit threads, but am consistently disappointed with skincare products either not living up to the hype or being out of my price range for steady use. However, this particular serum works really well. For one thing, I feel like it definitely serves to keep my skin hydrated which, in turn, helps minimize, reduce and prevent wrinkles. I've also noticed smoother skin tone and less splotchy-ness with regard to tone. I think this is a good baseline product; that is, something you could prioritize over other serums, toners, lotions and masks.I will note that the change isn't immediate. I can't think of anything healthy and sustainable for your skin that works immediately. You'll need to use it for a few weeks to months to see any change. Despite it being kind of a small bottle, you only need like 4-ish drops per application. I bought this on October 17th. It is now December 5th. I admit to not using it every night, but have definitely used it at least six times a week since I received it. The bottle is still about half-full (or empty, depending on how you're feeling today). So I would say it lasts a decent amount of time.It never broke me out, but I've been really lucky and have had very few breakouts from skincare products. *finding wood to knock on*-----For fun, here's my understanding of the best skincare order and routine. Note that this isn't all necessary, nor is it the only way to do things. Just wanted to give a little run-down of what I've gleaned from lurking in the aforementioned reddit threads.1) oil cleanser. Contrary to what people believed for a long time, (SOME) oils can be really good for breaking up your natural oils. The most memorable and useful little phrase for understanding this is "like dissolves like." I personally use a blend of mineral oil, tea tree, and sunflower. From what I understand, these are some of the least comodegenic oils out there. (Do some research though, to figure out what works best for your skin type.)2) Foam cleanser. Why foam? Because it reduces the friction on your skin from rubbing in thick gels and such. Really though, you could just stick to your regular face wash. If it ain't broken.....Together, the oil and foam (or regular face wash) is commonly referred to as a double cleanse.3) Toner. In Asian countries like Korea and Japan, toner is intended to hydrate the skin. On the other hand, Western toners strip the skin because the primary active ingredient is alcohol. So it's up to you: would you rather something that hydrates your skin after you strip it of oil and cleanse, or something that re-strips your oil again, potentially doing the opposite? This might be a personal preference based on skin type.4) Serums. Yay SubQ Anti-Age.5) Moisturizer.I hope this helps!

Not sure yet. I really haven't seen much of a change. It does feel good. Very light weight and goes right into the skin. I have used about a fourth of the bottle. You don't need much,a little bit goes a long way. If I don't see any results by the time the bottle is empty I will not order again.

Hydrating and That's It (For Me)
I really liked the hydration this product added to my skin. Beyond that I didn't notice any other changes to my skin. I heard The Ordinary product, "Buffet" does pretty much the same thing hydration wise so I ordered that and will see if it compares. I did not have any negative experience with this product but for the price I expected more than hydration.

however I am visibly smoother with less noticeable fine lines. That's a win
I've been using 5 drops twice daily along with 1 drop of the SubQ Eye formula. I've used HA products before and this is the most impressive of the affordable options available. I don't notice a lot of glow or intense hydration, which I did see with the Hada Labo lotions, however I am visibly smoother with less noticeable fine lines. That's a win. I layer this with other products for more moisture for my dry skin. One bottle of the SubQ should last me two months by my estimate. I will reorder!
