Molding Windshield Pillar Trim Compatible with 2010-2013 Kia Soul

Good quality, will recommend, looks great, would buy again.

My girlfriend has had her Soul for some years now and it often sits in direct sun. The pillars had become very faded and brittle, and the driver's side had even cracked during a car wash and later worsened. Eventually a large piece flew off while on the interstate, luckily no one was harmed! The Soul was in this sad looking condition for far too long because replacements seemed unjustifiably expensive (nearly a whole weeks worth of work just for some plastic!) until I came across these, and we couldn't be happier!!! I did purchase a trim removal tool set prior and I highly recommend the metal prybar tool. The old trim was destroyed during the removal process and the OEM retaining clips held strong to the body, which the prybar tool made easy work of removing. I reused the OEM clips, fastening them into each new trim piece first. I then lined up the trim (all clips and holes aligned perfectly) and proceeded to sharply push to get the clips to bite. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON THE NEW TRIM PIECE'S RUBBER WEATHERSTRIPPING AS YOU GO, TO KEEP IT MATED PROPERLY! I wasn't really paying attention on the first side I installed and getting the weatherstripping OVER the glass once the install was complete was a real pain... but not impossible! Anyways I finished up by lightly to moderately palm striking the pillar from bottom to top. End product is identical to new appearance and has genuinely made a big visual improvement! For the price? Hands down great product. Would reccomend to anyone who needs them replaced!

Perfect match for the vehicle

The product looks like the factory pieces, it comes with the clips and clip seals. The windshield side seal is attached with double sided tape- I had to adjust the seals slightly. The seal can fold over on itself. My solution to this issue is to either slide a thin piece of plastic between the seal and winshield after install, or before installing, wrap a piece of floss lengthwise around the part, outside of the clips. Install the part, then pull the floss toward the windshield, and the seal will pop out.

These are a good fit for my 2012 Kia Soul and easy to install. I did notice that there was an additional piece on the OEM part that was not on this piece, I think, I could be wrong, to keep air/water from coming under the edge over the window. It does not exist on these parts. However, as the dealer broke my pillar with their free car wash and refused to cover a new one, I refused to give them $140 for 1 pillar. These look great, I will see how well they hold up!

It took me 10-15 minutes to install first part. The second went on in 5 minutes. Originals were matte black and the replacements are glossy black. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I can’t believe that I drove around for many years with my ugly brittle side pillars when these were available here on Amazon. They were easy to install. I just followed a video from YouTube and had them on in about 15 minutes. I’m no longer Embarrassed to drive and actually love my 2012 KIA Soul again!

Perfect fit, easy to install. Replaced the broken, brittle and faded molding pillar trim and the appearance and overall value of the Kia Soul was a big improvement. Definitely would recommend.
