The purple is vibrant and a more “clear” and strong shade of purple rather than a pastel lilac or violet color. I think they look very appealing and muted compared to traditional neon options. I use them sometimes for art projects and get use from all the colors that way also. I’ve had this same pack for ~2 years with semi-regular use and have had them last for a long time without compromising their brightness or the strength of their lines. They’re somewhere in the medium level of thickness with a chisel that covers a line of 12 point font very neatly. They can bleed through a page if you hold them in one place for too long, particularly on thin paper.
