Excellent rubbing compound, easily removes 1500 grit sanding marks. It’s also easy also has minimal slinging and good working time while putting a nice shine on the surface.

Used on a wool pad after wet sanding orange peel to 3000 grit on single stage paint. Barely left any swirl marks. Easy to clean up and left no residue. Way better than Meguire 105.

That was a little pricey at first but realizing how little is needed to achieve the desired effect results it is nicely price, I've been polishing and detailing cars for years and this stuff is in another category top quality read the instructions!

Honestly a pretty solid cutting compound but very similar to Meguires M100 or M105. There’s not a shocking difference between this 3M product vs Meguires, they both cut about the same regardless if on paint or plastics like headlights / taillights. Paint is obviously softer and easier to cut than plastic but this compound CAN do it with enough passes and a good cutting pad. The main seller for this compared to other products would be the lifespan of the product, meaning I can use SMALLER portions of it and still get the job done. Also it’s really good at staying “wet” even when cutting if that makes sense, it doesn’t easily harden on the surface you’re compounding unlike Meguires. Price tag is pretty steep for around $45-$50, however the bottle is quite large for the actual portion size I use, so I can see this bottle lasting a few months. If you do decide to buy this product, full transparency here there’s not much that “wowed” me and is quite similar to other cutting compounds like Meguires or Sonax even. Don’t expect a life changing experience that will cut time dramatically, rather expect a longer lasting product.

I cannot believe how well this works. I used it with a 3M wool pad for a random orbital on a bumper I painted and wet sanded to 3000. I tried several other high end German products from Sonax and it looked good but not outstanding. This product did more in one step than the others did combined. Followed up with 3M machine polish and ultra fine using a Rupes white and the reflection is so clear a deep that I can read the label of my polisher in the paint. I thought this would be too aggressive so I was hesitant to try it. It really is astonishing.
