That was one of my favorite things about it.** A: They are almost the same shape. The top surface has the same tilt. however, the part of the key with the 2nd function label in blue on original has it's own more deeply angled surface. the top of keys on the DM15L is flat and has the blue labe on top. **Q: So if this swiss made calculator is an much improved version of the 15c why does it have a usb port and what's it used for?** A: Back in the day of the 15C the device programming was physically built into the circuit board. The processor was electronically "engraved" with the operating instructions. Modern chips are a blank slate. You build the device then load the programming into the chip. That chip can do many things, not just be a calculator. The port is there for use at the factory. That's where they load the operating instructions (firmware) into the device so the chip inside knows that it is now a calculator and how to go about doing that job. The port has no end user purpose. **Q: Can you store in the recall key and store key like you can with a hp 32s ii?** A: Sorry, I don't know the HP-32sII well enough. The HP-15C / DM15L can store values in many registers, but not in keys. I hope this answers your question.
