Don't spend that much on an 8 oz bottle. I even thought Walgreen's was a rip off, asking like 6 bucks for the little 8 oz bottle. Eventually I found it at a grocery store for $3.99 - and now they tell me the manufacturer has discontinued that size and they aren't going to carry it anymore. Boo. Amazon had previously been mailing it to me once a month for about $4.47 per 8 oz bottle, I will see if that's still available and go with that.

Why does the label say May Cause Staining? I hesitate to use something that can stain my teeth.

there are some types of fluoride (ie., stannous) that cause teeth staining; similar to coffee stains. this product doesn't claim to use that type of fluoride. I have had this type of staining from toothpastes I've used in past but haven't had the problem with this mouthwash.
