Hard Love: The Hacker Series #5

**I received an ARC for an honest review.** Well, what an amazing end to this series. I fell in love with Blake in Erica right from the beginning and even though their story hasn't been easy it is definitely one of my favorites. This book in The Hacker Series really cemented this series as one of my favorites. I love that Blake and Erica's love saved them both so much. I like that Erica kept to who she really is at heart and fought for Blake when he though all was lost. So many things in this book helped close the doors that were left wide open in the other books. People were dealt with and some people redeemed themselves even if just the slightest bit. Loose ends were tied up, relationships solidified and friendships grew. I loved every moment of this book. It really stayed true to the rest of the series, being that there wasn't a lack of sweet, sexy and even suspense. So many things come to light and so many things are handled that I did not think that this would be the last of it, but Meredith Wild really closed this up nicely. I don't want to give anything away because if you are a fan of this series like I am you will want to discover it for your self. I am sad to see the end of this but it was such a great ending that I am very much satisfied with it. This is a MUST read series...every book is a MUST read!!

That you for Epilogues! I loved this book and the entire series. I read the first 4 books back to back several months ago and was unpleasantly surprised to see that there was another book in the series but it wasn't yet published. Dammmmit! I pre-ordered the 5th book and then read it in 2 days, after re-reading the 4th to refresh my memory. I loved how Blake & Erica's story came full circle and all loose ends tied up. I really, really loved the way this book was written from both Erica's and Blake's POV alternating between chapters and sections of the book. Loved to hear how Blake was feeling throughout the book! I'd have loved to have seen a book or series about Alli and Keith too. I felt like there was a story to tell.....although Ms. Wild told us in the epilogue of their HEA. **MILD SPOILERS** I feel like the book ended a big abruptly but was happy to see that the epilogue finished their story and ended my curiosity. Although I would've loved to have shared a little more with Erica & Blake as they welcomed their baby into the world. Blake's reaction to the remainder of Erica's pregnancy and especially the birth of their baby would have been adorable to read about. This is the first series I read after Fifty Shades and I was not disappointed at all. I am going to miss Erica and Blake and have enjoyed their journey immensely. I am also quite fond of Meredity Wild and her writing style. I will definitely be reading more from her.

Hard Love was the last and final installment of Meredith Wild's Hacker series but also the culmination of all the hopes we readers have had for Blake and Erica's love story. The series is wrapped up beautiful with a perfect ending to couple that faced all different types of adversities and dispite it all triumphed in the end. I would have loved to read more about how some secondary characters made it in the end. They were so much a part of this series that I kind of missed them towards the end of this book when I didn't hear much of what happened with them. I loved the fact that this book included Blake's point of view as well as Erica's. The writing was flawless of course. Meredith is an amazing writer and well versed in writing the steamy stories that I love reading. I can't wait to hear what's next for her now that the Hacker series is done. But secretly I hope she does some spinoff books based on secondary characters from this series. So I can finally know what came of them.

I was given this ARC for an honest review.....I just finished reading this amazing conclusion to the Hacker Series. Over the last two years we have followed Erica and Blake through their tumultuous and all-consuming love affair. Each with their skeletons and baggage, Erica wearing hers on her sleeve and Blake hiding his behind his arrogant, controlling façade. They met their match, bringing out in each other what they lacked. Erica has become a much stronger personality, willing to defy Blake to help him, while Blake allows his vulnerability to show. Their love can only grow stronger with the passage of time. It was a refreshing change to read from Blake's point of view. I was able to understand where he was coming from especially when he was at his most vulnerable. I am sad that this series has reached a conclusion, albeit a sweet one. I will truly miss Erica and Blake and all the other characters I have grown to love and hate. I see great potential in a few character spin-offs but only time will tell! I can honestly say that this is one of my all-time favorite series by one of my favorite writers and I highly recommend it!!

Love it! One of the best book series I have read and reread again. It's a Breathtaking, thrilling and captivating read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

It was an amazing reading. I think I finished all the five books in two weeks. I read in english because I couldn't wait for the translation in portuguese. Now, lets hope to become a movie. Fingers crossed!

Love this series! Easy to read and great story

If it’s possible to give more than 5 stars I would. The author writes so well. Meredith has a way of writing that grips your heart and pulls you all the way in. Hard Love was the perfect conclusion to the phenomenal Hacker Series. The love that is shown between Blake and Erica, I have no words. I enjoyed a lot Blake and Erica’s story and I fell in love right along with them from book 1. They have overcome so much and it was heartwarming to see them get their HEAs.
