Extremely comfortable from day one
I have feet that were born to hurt. I'm 6'5" and much of my life (though not now) I have been overweight. To make matters worse, although I wear size 13-14 shoes, I have a very light bone structure and a high arch. This is a recipe for plantar fasciitis, which I have "enjoyed" for more than twenty years. In that time, I have tried custom hard-plastic orthotics from a couple of podiatrists. Without exception, they were horribly uncomfortable and the slow, patient adaptation process recommended by the prescribers did not help me tolerate them. I then went the other way, to ultra-soft Dr. Scholl's silicone inserts that felt great in the morning but provided no support as the day wore on. My next attempt was heat-molded insoles from Sole. I found that those didn't really mold well to my feet despite my meticulous attention to the instructions. Further, they were seriously stiff in the midfoot and, at least for my feet, the arch support was too far forward. Not as uncomfortable as the hard plastic orthotics but still no improvement over plain shoes. I was at the point of giving up when a shoe salesman suggested that I try the Superfeet footbeds. I selected the Copper model and they arrived promptly. I removed the thin foam rubber liners in my shoes and used them as templates to cut the Superfeet to size. If you do this, you need to know that the forefoot of the Superfeet insert is made of some very tough stuff. You're going to need heavy kitchen or shop shears to cut them. Attempting the trimming process with ordinary household scissors will leave you with sore hands and sprung blades. Having cut them to size, I slipped them into my shoes, laced up, and walked tentatively around the room. OK, let me cut to the chase. They felt great. The insole is quite firm in the midfoot but, unlike the model from Sole, the arch is far enough back so that it gives me real support instead of making me feel like I have a big, smooth rock in my shoe. I had no break-in period at all; I just put them in and walked away. To summarize: The Superfeet copper footbeds appear to be well made of durable materials. They are quite thin in the forefoot and I have not noticed that they have molded to my feet, as advertised. There is little room for molding when the footbed is at most 3/16" thick under the metatarsal fat pad and toes. The heel cup is deep and improves stability for my relatively week ankles. For me, they required no break-in; they were comfortable from the first moment. My plantar fasciitis, while not completely gone, is much better and I no longer feel like my feet have been beaten up after a five mile walk. But note: Feet are all different. I am enthusiastically positive about the Superfeet Copper footbeds. However, I have not compared them to every competitor out there, nor have I tried the less expensive models in the Superfeet range. In particular, I have not tried the store-molded custom inserts that one can purchase at ski shops and outfitters. Further, no footbed will help if the shoes in which they are worn are not properly and sturdily made and accurately fitted. I encourage you to try a variety of footbeds/inserts/insoles in your shoes before making a purchase decision. My disclaimer: I have no financial or other interest in the manufacturer and I have received no inducements of any kind for this review.

Very well madeโฆ.
I have highly sensitive feet and Iโve had a chronic issue off and on on with plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, after effects from cortisone, RSD, etc. for over 25 years. There have been times when my injury has not been an issue at all but right now itโs breaking me. Custom orthotics never worked for me. I am attempting to acclimate to these, which I bought a few years ago on Amazon. I found out from calling the actual company that if you have an issue with these, they will honor a refund. Many people do not know this. For two days in a row I have worn them more than I had been and my arches are bothering me a bit. But thatโs just my feet. It doesnโt seem as if anything works for me, but this is the closest Iโve come to something working. They have a lower profile and they donโt push intensely into your arches which I cannot tolerate. I just wish they were more cushioned. I am accustomed to jury rigging all of my shoes (sneakers and boot only) with cushioned insoles โฆ..layers of them. I had to give up high heels in the late 90s and it has caused me to be completely discouraged to not be able to wear them anymore. Iโve had to seek out something because Iโve had a reoccurrence of my injury due to doing too much pushing and pulling of mattresses, etc. and I only weigh 100 pounds so this issue is not caused by my weight. I question whether itโs caused by thyroid medication because my mother had the same issue immediately after taking thyroid medication, and the same thing happened to me. I also use compression socks but I have to buy larger sizes because I canโt stand anything too tight. My feet typically would be a size small, but I buy size large compression socks so that I can wear them while Iโm sleeping and theyโre not too tight but they help my feet feel better overnight. When I lived where there were stairs, I had no issues with this injury. I was constantly stretching by going up and down the stairs โฆ.thatโs all I had to do. I have lived in the place where I live now unfortunately for over seven years with no steps, and it has not been good. Inside my condo there is one step up one step down one step up one step down, and I believe itโs caused repetitive stress. No podiatrist or doctor has ever been able to help me get over this. Iโve had to do it on my own. Physical therapy only made it worse. The most important thing you can do is just find a pair of inserts that work for you and just do what you can. As I said, these are good, but everyoneโs feet are different. I am hoping I can acclimate to them even though Iโve been trying for over two monthsโฆโฆwhen I read that some people can put them on and immediately feel relief I am confused. I guess my feet are just a car wreck like the rest of my body from various car accidents that I was not responsible for. And the hardest thing about having an injury like this is that no one understands or comprehends how debilitating it is because they canโt see it. It actually makes it worse. Also, most people donโt realize that their emotions are connected to their injuries and pain. Even though I know thatโs true about me, itโs still difficult to comprehend. I would recommend this product because it has been better than any custom orthotics I had. Those got thrown away they were so bad. I am contemplating going to another podiatrist, but I know itโs a mistake. You just have to take your time and stretch any way that works for you but you have to be very careful with that also. I hope this helps someone. Update 3/2023. I could not tolerate these. I tried for weeks and weeks. And all I got out of it was pulling the muscles in my arches of my left foot of which the insert bothered me more on that foot than the right foot and pain on the back of my ankles. Everyoneโs feet are different, but if you are one who cannot tolerate custom orthotics, you probably wonโt be able to tolerate these either.

Great for jogging
Note: I have not been compensated in any way for this review. Iโd love it if someone did compensate me though! On to the review: I have lower-arched feet which tend to collapse inward (called pronation). Years ago, I went to see a podiatrist after suffering terrible foot pain. He prescribed me Superfeet, specifically the copper or blue models depending upon the amount of room in my shoes. Iโve used them ever since, and the pain has been relieved. I particularly like the copper model because of the extra cushioning that takes pressure off my feet. The arch support is very gentle, and the memory foam top layer reduces shock and adds a layer of pillowy softness under my feet. Here you can see them pictured in my trail jogging shoes (I just ran a 4.6 mile hilly trail). Another benefit of the copper Superfeet is that they last a long time. Unlike other brands where the insoles last maybe six months, Superfeet are built to endure years of heavy use. So you may pay more up front but overall they are much cheaper than the ones you have to keep replacing. Overall the Superfeet copper is a superb product worth every penny of its price if you are active but suffer from foot pain related to having flatter feet

Doctor recommended
After having some foot issues I went to the doctor. After they did their thing they suggested I look at new inserts for my shoes that better match my feet. These are what they suggested. Have they changed my life? Not that I've noticed but they do seem to be well made and fit into my size 10 shoes quite well. I haven't had any foot related issues since I switched to them though I have no way of knowing if that is related to the inserts or something else (I hadn't had foot pain before this recent issue so it could have been unrelated to the inserts). I'm happy with the purchase, they seem to hold up very well and are comfortable. I will likely keep using them going forward.

Personal fit
Tried low arch but the arches were still pushing into my arch, well made but orthotics are a personal fit, didn't work out for me

Highly recommend for industrial concrete floors
Ok, I've had these for 3 months now so I feel I can give an accurate review. First my working conditions. I work on concrete floors for 12 hours a day. I work 4 days on and 3 days off then 3 on and 4 off. I have a very physical job. I do a lot of walking, climbing ladders, and heavy lifting. My foot pain was to the point that I was ready to quit my job. My feet no longer recovered between days off and returning to work. I had sharp pain in the middle of the foot. It was as if there was a small lump there that would occasionally give very sharp pain. My feet always felt very tight the first few steps when getting up. I always noticed the pain as soon as I switched into my work shoes (Timberland Pro Steel Toe Low Cut). It was bad. No amount of massaging or stretching made a difference. I tried every insole you can get at the local department store. Nothing gave more than a couple weeks relief. Since I bought these the pain in my feet have returned to zero. The tightness and sharp pains are gone. Thank goodness! A few things to keep in mind. While my pain did reduce right away after using these it did take a while for my feet to heal completely. I have read reviews about the placement of the "arch support" being too close to the heal. Honestly with the coppers it is very slight. While I did initially notice the placement felt a little different it wasn't bothersome. After a couple weeks it felt completely normal. Also, don't expect spongy or cushiony from these. They are more firm and give the proper support. I think cushiony and spongy insoles give the illusion of making you feel better but overtime just wear out and give no support. While my feet do still get tired, in my opinion it is to be expected when being on your feet for 12 hours a day on concrete, my feet do recover overnight and I no longer experience any sharp pains. I think they do alter your gait a bit. I think this because the first week my hips knees and ankles experienced some pain. I think it was because my muscles had to adjust to the change in my gait. In conclusion, they worked great for me and have no problem recommending them.

Miracle
As a long term sufferer with foot pain, these have been a blessed relief! I was diagnosed with Plantar-Fasciitis in both heels three years ago and as it didn't subside after a few months, and as the injections hadn't worked, I was told it was probably permanent. It seemed I would have to put up with the pain. I have tried many, many so called cures, gels, insoles, pressure socks, and yes, even magnets before, none of them worked. When I saw these advertised on Amazon, I sent for them more in hope than expectation. They arrived the next day, I cut them to size as described and put them into my shoes. In some of the write-ups I'd seen they said it had taken a while for them to work, so I was expecting a slow lead-in to any benefit. For me they started working within half an hour. First, I noticed my toes were not as painful as they usually were, a short while later I realised there was almost no pain in my heels. I almost didn't believe it, these insoles were actually working!!! If you have or know someone who has constant, long term foot pain, the ยฃ35 these cost is but a small price to pay for any form of relief. A couple of observations. Although the insoles do ease the pain considerably while standing/walking, the pain does seem to increase when you sit down and take the weight off your feet!! I don't know why, but for me it does. The pain increases when I take the shoes/insoles off! The pain calming effect only seems to work while you are wearing the insoles. Which is fair enough I suppose. No one claimed a complete cure. They worked for me and I will be purchasing more pairs, once I am certain they don't stop working before the twelve months they offer as a "guide" to how long they last. Hope this helps!

Heaven
These are the bomb. Iโm slowly ordering these for all my shoes I regularly wear so I donโt have to keep swapping them out

Comfortable insoles, but sizes run small and needs to be longer
Insoles are very comfortable, but sizing is off and runs small. I'm a size 43, so ordered 42-44, but my toe falls off end of insoles in shoe. Product needs to be longer so that it can be cut down to size as advertised. Otherwise great comfort!

Product works as described.
Bought these for my motorcycle boots, and so far, they're the same quality as the Superfeet insoles I bought for my hiking shoes a few years ago. Just a note for all those buying, please have your feet properly measured with a scale before buying. These insoles' arch height and width are specific and need to match your feet to be effective long term.
