AC Infinity Ventilation Grille, for PC Computer AV Electronic Cabinets, Also mounts one 120mm Fan

Got two of these for the amps in my car. They live under the false floor where things can get toasty fast. Before using these to mount 2 120mm fans (intake and exhaust) the amps were getting extremely hot to the point where I could not keep my hand on them for more than 1 second. After using these with the fans, the amps just get warm even after an hour of play time. I used these in conjunction with two Corsair ML120 Pro fans for their super quiet operation even at full tilt. Connected pos and neg together on both fans and ran that into a single pigtail connector (for easy removal of necessary), which ran into the relay used to provide a switched 12v signal for the amps and dsp's. Fit and finish of these grills are on point. They look sleek and yet are very sturdy for a great price. They come with lots of screws for different applications. Will use these again in future builds!

I love AC Infinity products. Yes, pricing can be a bit higher, but the quality justifies it - in my opinion. This comes with everything you need for the install (faceplate, grille, screws - minus the fan).

Great unit. Of course my little fans came with a fan blade cover. Go figure. But this will fully encase the fan. I will use this as it is a cleaner look.

Bought a 6" fan and an exhaust grille. Great buy for my ~10 cu ft. electronics cabinet. I put some built-ins down in the basement when we finished it and stuffed them with a burly receiver/amp, DirecTV box, BluRay, and record player. The cabinet was getting TOO HOT with the door closed. The BluRay would turn off it was so hot and the top of the amplifier was too hot to touch for more than a couple seconds. I picked up the 6" fan and matching grill for an exhaust cover to help. What a difference. The fan and exhaust plate (which is really just the grille part of the fan assembly - so it matches well) installed easily with the included template. Now the cabinet is only a few degrees above room temperature. It took me about an hour to get the fan and vent installed as I had to cut through the cabinet wall and drywall into the built out space behind the wall (fireplace wall). The fan looks great. These are quality components, not just a cheap muffin fan and flimsy plastic covers. The speed control feature is nice too, but I haven't had to turn it down from the high speed setting. It's quieter than I expected and isn't vibrating or sending a hum through the record player.

It works as intended. I cut a 5 inch hole in the side of my computer desk. These center on the holes pretty easily. The screws are self tapping, so they install pretty easily. The grate also comes with fan grates and extra hardware if you plan on using them as an active cooling option. I chose passive and left the attached grate.

To be honest, I was actually blown away at the quality of the packaging. I was expecting something cheap and from china but was very much surprised to find a quality product in a nice package. This is a finely machined piece of brushed black metal that comes with all the hardware you need to attach it to most places and includes the nice fan grill on the back. I needed another input of fresh air to cool down my power hungry FX8350 and the VRM's running it. The only place to put another fan in my case was on the clear plastic on the "pretty side" and I did not want some cheap funky piece of plastic taking that space. This grill wins first prize. It allows just enough light from the fan to come back out of the case but keeps it safe from my cat's prying paws : ) High quality hardware and the grill make it a awesome deal for the money. You will not go wrong with this purchase.

the mesh and nuts holding the mesh take up space and hold the panel off of the surface unless you carve out a space for them or make the hole bigger but its a fine vent cover

Plain-ish, brushed aluminium, black works as advertised. The 'mesh' is a little rough in a couple of places where it was "stamped and formed" but all in all good. For me, in my home theater, it was a good fit. I really appreciated the fan grill and extra nuts/bolts ... pushed it to 5 stars. Well done! Be aware, this is a nice looking, functional piece of kit; however, I would not call it elegant. i.e. if I installed it in a visible place in the living room, my wife would have a few words for me.

Got this for mount my 120mm pc fan. Came on time and everything was as excepted. The mesh was a little rough in some places and I cut my finger on one of the rough edges. Other than that, it fitted my 120 mm fan perfectly and easy to install.
