Instructions are clear and help you scale up your routine as you get more experienced. Now, about the results! I'm only a couple weeks in, so I definitely have not been expecting miracles. But, I HAVE noticed a difference already! I even took a "before" picture as a point of comparison, and I have to say that the change is marked. Even my husband has commented (with insulting surprise) that he can see the difference. My cheeks are a bit less saggy and some of the lines around my mouth have already begun to vanish. My mouth doesn't seem as down-turned when resting. And my skin actually does look younger! I'm impressed! Why didn't I start this months ago?? Considering this was the only change to my skin-care/facial routine, I credit this book already with making a big difference! I'm really excited to see if the improvements continue through the coming months, and I'm already recommending this book to others. After a couple of weeks I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror & thought "Well, I'm just wishful thinking & LOOKING for improvement". But a few days ago my close friend, who did NOT know I'm doing the exercises asked if I had lost weight or something & thought I looked much better... somehow. I asked her HOW do I look better, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. When I told her about the exercises she said "That's it!" Then she said that my double chin was not nearly as pronounced as before AND my skin was much clearer. I almost always have a few blemishes - ususally on the right side of my face. But they have been clearing up since starting the program. Doing the exercises improves skin tone because of the increased circulation to your face. I'm very, VERY happy with this program & have started doing more of the exercises for other parts of my face.

Healthy and inexpensive way to look younger
It's a good book, I haven't had much time to try the techniques yet. Anxious for a quite weekend to start learning more on this. It explains it very nicely.

Good illustrations
This book has good illustrations about useful facial exercise ideas. I don't care for the title. The only way it can be done in five minutes is to only do a couple of the exercises. The author tried to explain that by saying that it's pointless to exercise non problem areas. I don't agree with this point of view, as all the areas of the face and body need exercise all through life. One day when one is wrinkled and sagging it may be harder to turn things around.

Love It!
Great book! After doing the excercices for 3 days 3 times a day my face feels like your body feels after workout - tight and even a little sore, I am 28 and it's always great to start following the routine as early as you can. I am very happy with the purchase, the pictures in the book are large and the description is clear. I really noticed an improvement, especially in the lips area, the do get fuller after the excercise! Wow!

I love the way the book is layed out very simple
Ok I tried this once and I actually believe this is doable. I think once I get the exercises down I can run through them on auto pilot. I love the way the book is layed out very simple, flip a page and do the next exercise. I enjoyed the design of the book with the inside and back cover folds to hold my pages down (silly feature but nice) as I sat outside with a gentle breeze. I will report back on how this works for me in about 8 weeks or so. Anyway I am impressed with just the first hour of looking it over and running through the exercises a couple times. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Not a 5 minute routine.
I could have done without this purchase which I made based on the ratings. The exercises seem pretty wimpy and are accompanied by thinly written instructions. The title is misleading. Nice quality book with educational diagrams of facial muscles.

Great facial exercises!
I do these exercises at least every other day and within a few weeks I'm already noticing a change in my face. Everything seems more toned and lifted! It's true that you have so many different facial muscles that need to be worked out! Same that applies for your body, you have to work out in order to stay fit and toned. These exercises are so simple and only take a short amount of time! Love the results!!

Much easier than the other writers version to understand both why and how. Simple explanations are accompanied by clear pictures and the muscle groups impacted are clearly identified in a drawing so it all comes together in an understandable and meaningful way. Even my husband has tried it and that says something. It only works if you are committed though - reading it alone doesnt make a difference!

Bought as a Christmas gift and was very well received. Probably buy a copy for myself too as it looked very well illustrated and easy to follow.

I bought it as a present for my sister- in- low. She is very happy with the quality of the paper and the photos. The book has 21 exercises for facial lifting with minimum explanations and with the perfect pictures. I think that this book is a very good present for a woman of any age.

I discovered the first printing of this book which was called "Facebuilding", in 2000 in the library. I eventually bought my own copy a year later. Now it has been reprinted I've been buying copies for friends as gifts. The exercises are easy to do and they work. Ten years on, I'm still doing my exercise routine twice a week. Being 40-ish I had been keen to start toning up my facial muscles in preparation of hitting 50. I identified problem areas and experimented with one exercise at a time, to see if I liked the results. Personally I love exercise No. 1- it gives me a wide-awake look (like Botox or a brow-lift, but a healthier version of these!) I do Nos. 1,2,6,11,12,15,19,20 whilst watching tv. After you've got satisfactory results you can then reduce exercise sessions from 5 times to 2 times per week. That is all you need in order to maintain the muscle tone you've built up. I did try other books but gave up on them, as many seemed to create more creases and lines by the weird contortions you had to screw your face into. I love this book!! Get yourself a good face cream, eye cream, Five Minute Facelift and a wee bit of self-discipline!!!
