Review: bestest cable for the money - After reading all the reviews, you have 2 types of people, the ones that have no clue what this cable is for,and those that do and recognize the quality of these cables and use as intended. I have been building HTs since the mid 90s,and honestly this is one of the nicest subwoofer cable i have bought,Ive bought monster cable, monster cable THX certified, vampire cables and even audioquest cables, for the price, these are a steal as they are very well made, quality components, the fit is nice and snug, not overly tight, and in no way loose, they have very nice grips,so you never have to worry about signal loss, A Y cable is also beneficial for auto on subs,as it will deliver more low signals to keep your subwoofer active during use,and not sleep when the very low signals are sent.I was very skeptical given its price point, but thanks to the well written reviews,i bought 2 of them so my dual sub setup would have the exact same cables to them.I was really surprised at the quality and fit when i installed them, they are stiffer than normal cables or speaker wire, but they are not made for wall mounted or close to wall applications, but with a well made heavily shielded cable, what do you expect??? Overall, they look great, work great and come in at a very respectable price. The bass out of my Klipschs is super tight, clear and responsive,if i did not think they were worth it i would not have them on almost 2 grand worth of subs that hit lows of 18Hz,which is lower than the human ear can hear, and there is no degradation whatsoever, there is no reason to spend huge money on sub cables when these perform perfectly-give them a shot,if you dont like send back or whatever, but for 10 bucks you really cannot go wrong. 1 note,if you have an AVR w/2 sub outs, get a second matching one,you will be amazed, deeper richer bass w.no peaks and valleys in the output, and seamless transition, your ears are not drawn to the sub and its location,it just flows perfectly, ive read 4 are optimal, but since i went w/1 of the best and largest subs out there,i dont have room for 4,but man it would be awesome to have 4 of these big bad boys in my system,to do that you would you to change the configuration of the out cable from receiver,it would need 2 female ends on the Y side then 4 of these cables to go to each end of the Ys and then to each sub with the male Y end. Overall these cables are worth every penny and more, you will not regret saving some money and having great cables to boot, they are a win-win and deserve nothing but 5 star ratings, people that dont either bought them for the wrong purpose, and blame the cable,or just dont get to review the actual product, not compare it to other 1s,as price to quality, there is no comparison, and when needed i will not hesitate to buy more,or different cables from MediaBridge ultra series of cables.Yes i would recommend them to anyone looking for cables that they make, and no none of my equipment is entry level, all top notch Klipsch RP series speakers, the biggest and best of that line are in my living room,so i would not skimp on cables that go into over 3 thousand dollars worth of speakers, yes i am an audiophile and proud of it,and 1 thing you dont do is skimp on speaker wires or any other signal transferring cables needed in your system, and these as stated are way above their price point in quality and performance .
Review: Works great, no hum, best sound I’ve ever had - I’m writing this hoping it will help someone like me. I put this cable between a Klipsch R-120SW and a Denon AVR-S570BT (Denon connected via eArc to Apple TV), and the sub didn’t work at first. Only some deep sound when something crashed in a movie. I had no music sound from the sub. What I was hoping for when I found this sub was really great music sound as well as tv/movie audio. I wondered if I was using the wrong cable, because the sub manual told me to only use a single ended cable for L-LFE plug. But when I googled deeper, even Klipsch suggested that a Y cable would give me the best sub sound (even though the 3 page sub manual did not say this). So I kept this cable and found info on an “advanced setting” in the Denon. I changed LFE to “Lfe + main” and now everything works, music, tv, all of it. The sound is awesome and perfect. There are other settings you can tweak to your liking in the denon, to change the audio, but I haven’t needed to. I did some tuning with the low pass and gain on the back of the sub to get it perfect and I walked away. No buzz, no hum, just clear, perfect, well rounded bass which made my old, tiny center and side speakers sound like an expensive system with clear mids and full sound as well. You can’t even tell it’s coming from the sub. I’m kind of in shock. Awesome resonant floor thumping bass for rap, hip hop, also perfectly transitions for classical, swing, country, r&b etc. We love all kinds of music and this does it all with power to spare. And when something destroys a building in a move, the floor and couch shake with clear, perfect sound. No near neighbors to annoy. But if I turned up the knobs even a hair on the sub, the far neighbors will also hear my perfect bass. Five stars to everything I bought

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I connect left and right input from subwoofer to subwoofer output on amp.**
A: Yes. You don't necessarily need to use both sub inputs (can use a mono cable), but you will gain some sensitivity (a little more output from the sub, and can help with some sub's auto turn on feature) by hooking one end up to your receiver or prepro's sub output and the other ends to your left and right sub inputs.

**Q: Can use this cable to connect a new receiver with an older subwoofer that has line in and out rca connections? my receiver only have the subwoofer out**
A: Only connect receiver to line in on sub!

**Q: Can it connect a klh subwoofer to a pioneer receiver**
A: Of course, klh subs have RCA inputs and all Pioneer AVRs have sub out RCA type connections. Dual end goes to each RCA in sub, you'll gain 6-4 dB depending on sub model

**Q: Is the side with the single RCA Pin a Mono or Stereo RCA Pin? (Will it carry L and R information or just mono information?)**
A: I'm not sure, but Mediabridge Make the Cable for Left and Right Audio Output to Left and Right Audio Input. They say that these type of Cables can be used also to hookup a Subwoofer and will also improve the Audio portion of your system. I've did some research on Mediabridge Cables and they Build their Cables to produce a good Sound Output of whatever you have hooked up with them. I have two Polk PSW10 SUBS hooked up with these Cables and the Sound is Solid!. Ultimately when it comes to your System it's what you want to do. 🤔🤔😄😎

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly impressed--would give it 10 stars if I could
*by R***B on September 14, 2016*

I'm using this Mediabridge Ultra Series RCA Y-Adapter to connect my Sony DN1060 home theater amplifier to a Polk subwoofer. The amp has one sub-out (well, it has two, but intended for two separate sub's) and the sub has two (left and right) inputs. Depending on what you read, some say that you can do just fine using only Left or Right inputs on sub-woofers that have both, but others say that you're better off using both with a Y-adapter. I have a huge tub of extra RCA wires of mixed quality--ranging from el-cheaper crap that came with older AV equipment to the high-end/high-price stuff, but I didn't have a Y-adapter so I went with this one. This cable exceeded my expectations, even though I bought based on a slew of positive reviews. The rubber is supple, not overly stiff like the cheap cables, so it's easy to route through tight spaces. The gold-plated connectors fit quite snug and will not vibrate loose. Of course I didn't cut it open to examine the gauge of the wire, but it feels quite substantial, so unless the manufacturers put a huge casing on a skinny wire (doubtful), I'm sure it is robust and capable. The Y-adapter used in this situation works perfectly and if you are facing a similar dilemma of how to deal with one sub-out on your Amp, and both Left and Right inputs on your sub, this is an excellent choice cable.
