Absolutely Satisfied
I knew when I went to purchase a conference phone that I was looking to spend a bit of money to find something that would grow with me. Right now, we have a small office, and do occasional conference calls. We are, however, a rapidly growing company who within 2 months has gained a need for such a phone, and will likely continue to grow at a similar rate. With that in mind, I knew I needed something that would grow into a conference-table-capable device, and was really interested in the remote microphone modules. They seemed like a tremendous gimmick, but I acknowledged that they were not required to be remote, and moved on to other features. I was skeptical, because I've had really reliable VTech phones and REALLY unreliable ones. In the grand scheme of things, I have found them to be decently reliable and I know that the higher-priced models tend to have a better quality build. (Go figure, huh?) What I didn't know was that I was going to like this phone so much. I use it about once a week, and get excited every time. The things I like most are these: - GREAT sound quality, even in a very 'live' room. - Remote Mic modules work at 20', and sound is crystal clear - Visual ring indication is LEDs all around the unit, so even on silent, it can be seen easily - A single wire to the phone is the only thing needed. The only thing I don't like is one of the things I do like too. While the idea of having a single wire feed this phone is great, in a smaller setting like mine is currently, you end up with a mess of wires. First your power and phone line feed a distribution block, then a hefty, RJ-45-terminated cable feeds the phone. This is essentially POE injection, which I love, but can be difficult to manage in a home-office sort of situation. It is not a deal breaker, by any means. I do professional industrial wiring, commercial audio/video and residential home theatre/automation engineering and installation, so routing cables and cleaning cables up is somewhat of a fascination, and an easy task. For people who HATE routing cables and having power adapters all over the place, this unit will only add one more to the mix. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a small to medium office conference phone that wants to save money and get a quality product.

What more do you need..Recommend Product
I was hesitant ordering "like new" versus new but glad I did. Product was shipped very fast, in the original box, and in perfect condition. I use this for my home office, obviously full time now thanks to COVID-19. Its a well built and visually appealing. Its not bulky like others I say. The speaker is crisp and clear and my voice is well received. I didnt need the wireless components for my office, but I use them since I have them. I sit on my office couch away from my desk and these work great-no difference from speaking into the main unit. I have many critical meetings all day and this Vtech is amazing. I recommend it and the seller. A+

Good phone, but don't try Amazon for sujpport.
We bought this phone to try as a replacement for Polycoms that have their notorious "can't turn the volume down" bug. Phone works fine, but we wanted to know whether we could use the existing installed Polycom ethernet-like power cable with the new VTech phone. Google provided no answer. Amazon recently started online chat product support and I tried it today. Spent a couple of hours re-stating to an AI or ESL what the simple problem was and never got a satisfactory answer. I believe that "Kathleen" was running several chats at once and couldn't keep them straight. We found the answer elsewhere. The power cable cables for both are standard ethernet, but the Polycom cable has a little ridge on the RJ-45s to keep folks from connecting their power supply to a real ethernet port. You can use the Polycom cable if you remove the ridge. Amazon has a huge selection and delivers quickly. I have also never had a problem returning or replacing items within their 30-day window. No questions asked, and UPS picks returns up. They also cross-ship replacements rather than waiting for yours. But don't bother with their product support chat. Waste of time.

Looked good, but we did not keep it.
We went another direction so it was not kept. Returned without issue for a refund.

Most versatile analog conference phone I have seen
What?? V-Tech...Isn't that a toy company? This phone is no toy! The VTech ErisStation works great in small conference rooms or offices, but with the 4 wireless "puck" remote microphones, it also works well in multi-row training rooms and other larger meeting rooms. Sound quality both ways is excellent. Did I mention the wireless pucks? SO nice to expand the room so the people you call can hear from everyone in the room. Why don't the "real" conference phone guys make them like this? I have bought many of these for different locations mostly to replace less versatile Polycom sets.

Works better than expected
We have a small office (16 employees) and in our large conference room there are some occasions (however, not very often) where we need a conference phone in this Large Conference room, so that everyone on staff can be on the call. We've tried a couple different cheap solutions, none of which have worked well as due to the size of the room, and our table configuration (setup in a "U") nobody on the phone can hear the people at the far ends of the U shape. That is where this phone came in and has worked well! With the four wireless mics that we can spread out across the tables, it picks up everyone nicely on our calls, and again considering how seldom we need that capability, the price point was perfect. Other solutions with multiple wireless mics on the market are easily $3,000-$5,000, as they require a mixer, controller, external speakers, etc. This unit fits the bill, and I read all the other reviews, some of which mentioned issues with the batteries in the wireless mics, so I purchased the extended warranty coverage as a safe guard on replacing those batteries as needed.

Terrible quality conference phone
I work from my Home Office and was looking for a high end phone with excellent quality for conference calls. I researched phones and decided on this one and it has been a complete disaster. Almost every call I have been on people have said "there is an echo" or "they cannot hear me" or asking me to switch to a handheld device, however there is no option on this device for a headset. This is an embarrassment with any calls, however particularly with business calls. This phone sits on my desk one foot away from me. Fortunately Amazon has excellent customer service and allowed me to return this phone and purchase https://www.amazon.com/Polycom-SoundStation-Expandable-Conference-2200-16000-001/dp/B00073FCS0. The Polycom is more money, but totally worth it and I could not be happier with its excellent sound quality and pleasant ring tone. I hope this review is helpful for business people weighing if it is worth the extra money to purchase the Polycom for your home office or small business versus the Vtech conference phone which caused me stress everyday. I wish I initially had just purchased the Polycom SoundStation 2 instead of the Vtech VCS702 which is a terrible conference phone.

Great phone with serious battery problem
This is a great speakerphone with a serious flaw. The batteries in the units I have purchased are very poor quality and swell in less than a year. I am not sure if this is the result of a faulty charging system or cheap battery. The swelling causes the charging contacts to lose connection resulting in uncharged pucks. The swelling also makes it very hard to remove the battery cover. In addition this is a serious safety concern. I have 4 of these phones. They are all less than a year old and they all have this problem. I contacted Vtech and they sent me 16 new batteries. If you own this phone I strongly suggested you immediately check your phone and contact Vtech. You have a 2-year warranty, use it. I hope the new batteries fix the issue. If it is a fault with the charging system then there may be an inherent design flaw. People always replace the microphone pucks after using the phone. If they can't be left in the base then the phone loses a lot of its usefulness. I will measure the height of the batteries upon receiving them new week. I will then check the batteries again in a month or so and update the results.

Makes solid connections and provides great audio quality.
Excellent audio quality on both ends of the conference call and the wireless remotes make communications around a board table.
