My 7 year old still needs a gentle reminder when it's okay to get up and when it's time for bed. This does the job without looking babyish. Several nice melodies to fall asleep to. He changes the colors to his mood, or the soft white to read in bed. So far my main complaint is that the power cord died. Easy enough to replace a usb to c cord, but mildly annoying to stop the bedtime routine in order to ransack the house for a spare cord. I also wish it had a back up battery for power outage or momentary disconnects. Its irritating to have to reset everything, even though that only take 5 minutes to do.

My daughter has a sleep disorder that makes sleeping through the night, taking naps, and getting more than six hours of sleep difficult. I had not slept through the night in four years... until last night. We have tried several of these clocks, but they always only allowed you to set either the moon or the sun. Never both. This has led to many problems as she stayed up too late or woke up too early. We lost many hours of sleep testing these. This is the first one we tested that allowed us to set the sun and the moon. Is it perfect? No. The screen is too bright, and I can't figure out how to dim it. It doesn't appear to have a battery pack, which was a universal feature in the other versions of this we have tried. Will that prevent me from buying another one...? Also no, I have another one coming today! I might get a third for our main space so she can see when it is moon time and control the start of her bedtime routine. If you need to program when the sun sets and when it rises because you need this to help you set both bedtime and wake time, this is for you. Then again, I literally don't care about the other features, so... The night light is nice, and she likes the colors. The screen brightness is enough night light though, tbh. We are using the "night light" as a reading light on its highest settings. It needs to be plugged in, which is not a big deal for us. If you need it to be unplugged, you can get a portable charger and run it on that. Oh! And did I mention the sun and the moon are independently programmable and it works?? I did? All this sleep is giving me too much energy....

Love the functions on this clock. We use the sun and moon timers so our kids know when they need to turn out the lights and go to bed at night, and when they can wake up in the morning (something that can be confusing during winter months when it's dark both at night and in the "morning"). We also use the separate alarm (clock lights up) so they know when they can come out of their rooms. It's been a fantastic tool for sleep training, and as they've gotten older, it's also helped them to learn about telling time. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that this product only seems to last about 12 months. I think I've gone through at least four clocks now. Typically its the power chord that fails. (Either the connection at the back of the clock wears out, or something in the cable itself). I've had one display go out too (it became so messed up, you couldn't tell time).

We purchased this clock 9 months ago to help our 5 and 8 year olds stay in their beds until wake up time. We mainly use it for the nightlight and the okay to wake and clock. I like that it has both the time and the sun/moon image. My 5 year old looks for the sun to wake up and my 8 year old can use the clock. After 9 months it turned off and didn't turn back on. I tried difference outlets and chargers but it didn't help. I emailed the company and the responded the same day. After some troubleshooting, they honored the warranty and sent me a new clock. It arrived only a few days later. Not only do we love this clock but we appreciate the excellent customer service even more!

We originally bought this clock to help my son tell when it was ok to get out of bed (ie. when the little sun is shining, you can get out of bed; when the moon is shining on the clock, it's not time to get up yet). And it worked wonderfully. UNTIL... the cord connection started to loosen at the back of the clock. (Every weekend, we let our kids sleep in the same room to have a 'sleepover' :), and we move the clock back and forth for that reason.) With that minimal movement, the clock became touch and go, requiring some jiggling to work. Eventually, it stopped working all together. But we loved it so much, we bought another one. AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. :( This is a real problem with the product.

This is a really fun sleep trainer for children. This alarm clock not only helps kids wake up with its wake-up light feature but also serves as a night light to provide a comforting ambiance in their room. The sleep sound machine feature is really a soothing environment for sleep. The day and night and moon visuals are pretty cool. This alarm clock is a great teaching kids to get up on their own.

I love this clock. My not-quite-3yo now waits to get out of bed every morning until the sun pops up on her clock face. It was a remarkably quick transition from getting regular 3am wakeup calls to sleeping through the night (us at least). It took 2 or 3 days max for her to get it. She also loves the different colors and hasn't complained about being afraid of the dark once. The only negative is that the nightlight is BRIGHT. As in, practically lights up the whole room bright. It doesn't bother my child one bit, but I would prefer if there was a lower light setting. The alternative is to turn off the nightlight and just have the clock face, which still puts off some light, but if my child wants the light on, there is no talking her out of it. We keep it in an open cubby that faces her bed, so she can see the face, but it at least prevents the nightlight from reflecting off the ceiling. Setup was a breeze. There are different buttons for each function. A friend of mine has a similar clock that only has two buttons and setup for them was an ordeal. Even my 1 year olds have figured out how to change the color on the nightlight and turn it on/off, so it is pretty easy for kids to navigate that function. Fortunately, their manhandling hasn't affected any of the other settings.

I highly recommend this clock...BUT you need to sit down for like 30 minutes and figure it out. The instructions are not very clear and easy to follow. Basically, dedicate a little bit of time to figuring this out with it plugged in. Once you do that I think it's a great clock. I love the sound machine. It actually will stay on for 15, 30, 60, 120 minutes or perpetually and has a good variety of options. This definitely replaced the sound machine we bought for our son that always turns off after 1 hr despite claims of otherwise. We use a different night light, but this has a good one as well. I like that you can choose different colors and there are 3 brightness settings I will note this does not seem to work so far on keeping my kid in bed until it's "morning" on his clock. He's only 2 though so that is probably the main factor.

Very nice and easy to set-up alarm. Our son adores it. Small issue with power supply was solved immediately by customer service. Great compliment! Recommended purchase.

Très beau réveil, mon 2ème car le premier a rendu l'âme. Très simple d'utilisation pour le régler une fois que l'on a compris la notice. J'attends juste une petite information du vendeur concernant un réglage, la veilleuse se met toute seule le soir, je pense à l'heure de la lune et ne s'éteint pas seule. Soit un bug, soit un réglage mais que je trouve pas. Sinon je recommande ce réveil.

Réveil simple d'utilisation et de programmation. Les lumières, musiques sont agréables. On peut régler l'intensité/le volume et c'est parfois. La lumière est douce et agréable et il y a plusieurs possibilités. Les musiques et sons sont doux. Le design est simple et joli, tout comme les illustrations. Les enfants ont de suite compris le principe et l'objectif de cet achat est déjà atteint. Je recommande !

estamos encantados con el despertador. mi hijo tiene 5 años y está encantando por que ya puede despertarse por la noche y ver si es una hora a la que pueda levantarse o si debe seguir durmiendo al ver el simbolo del sol/luna o leer la hora que es. le puedes programar a que hora del dia quieres que aparezca el sol/luna para que ellos identifiquen si deben estar despiertos o en cama. el despertador incluye distintas melodias para que ellos escojan cual les gusta. un acierto!
