Ettore 48211 Ceiling Fan Brush with Click-Lock Feature , Blue

I did not know this existed before...I happened to buy a squeegee and scrubber with an extension pole by this same company and on a whim decided to see what else they sold that I could attach to this pole, lol. I am so glad I bought this! I used to get a ladder and microfiber cloths and one by one wipe each blade. It used to take me 20 minutes or so to clean the fan, being super careful trying not to drop dust. Well, while this does make some of the dust fall, it is mostly in the form of clumped dust...considering I had the living room fan blades done in about 60 seconds...I think I will just vacuum the clumps from now on! Slowing down trying not to make a mess with microfiber is for the birds...no more. I was impressed with the amount of dust that stayed attached to the brush as well and their was very little dust in the air. Next time I might try lightly misting the brush with a little water just to see if it eliminates the small amount of dust I noticed floating...but even if it does not, this was so little I would gladly use this method from now on anyway. For the record, I used the cobweb attachment to clean off the fan body and lights. (I love the cobweb attachment too! I found it works well on the wood slats of our closet doors...which were always a royal pain to clean before...I like it on baseboards too...my kids laughed at me as I wandered the house looking for more things to use them on. I have to admit, it was kind of fun, and I am not one of those people who likes cleaning. Just a new toy, I am sure the novelty will wear off, but the speed and efficiency wont!) Bonus, though I dislike popcorn ceilings, I do have it still in a couple rooms in my house, this knocks the dust off the ceiling very well too. I used to use a broom...but this works way better as the bristles are softer so it does not also knock off popcorn in the process (as my broom did)and does actually trap dust as well, as my broom did not. Love that I have another purpose for it, lol. Great tool! So happy to have found this "on accident."

This used to be sold in stores. I wanted a fan duster that won’t catch on screws, etc., on ceiling fans. This works.

Compared to my old, worn out fan brush, this is so much nicer. I love that I can even clean over the fan blade screws with this brush. The brush doesn't come with the pole shown. That's a separate order and for that reason I can only give this brush 4 stars but the combination brush and pole are really impressive. I purchased a loop type fan cleaner and all it did was get stuck on the fan blade screws behind the blades. I had to get a ladder to release the loop from the screw. This brush easily goes all the way back and over the blade screws. This is a very nice quality brush and I was unable to find anything this nice anywhere else. The brustles are sturdy and long but soft at the same time. The brush does not work with a screw type pole, which is another reason for only 4 stars. This brush will only work with the purchased separately pole because of the little push in pin on the handle. It pops right into the brush and keeps it tight. This is a high quality brush and does a great job cleaning the entire fan blade and the housing above the blades.

Our granddaughter uses it about every 3 months on our 4 ceiling fans takes I home o clean all of their fans.

Had tried a number of ways to try and clean a relatively inaccessible ceiling fan with no luck. Our white ceiling fan had dark edges and dust that had gathered for years. This brush removed the loose dust easily. I dampened the brush and was able to scrub off the dark edges for the first time ever. While it doesn't fit on other poles perfectly, I was able to use it on a mismatched extension pole to get the job done. It did get stuck once because of this, so you may want to consider the matched extension pole. Anyway, a simple tool that works!
