KOOTION USB C Flash Drive 32GB 2 in 1 OTG USB 3.0/Type C Thumb Drive Dual Drive USB C Memory Stick for Smartphone Laptop Tablet PC, Blue

It was easy to use and helped transfer some pictures from one computer to the next.

I needed to completely wipe a USB thumb drive that had Linux partitions on it and restore the whole drive as one FAT32 partition. Windows DiskPart worked perfectly. Open PowerShell or Terminal as Administrator. Type: diskpart Show all drives: list disk Identify the USB drive by its size, then select it: select disk X Replace X with the correct disk number. Verify that it is the USB drive: detail disk Make sure it says Type: USB and is not your Windows boot drive. Erase all existing partitions: clean Create one new full-size partition: create partition primary Format it as FAT32: format fs=fat32 quick label=FILENAME Replace FILENAME with whatever drive name you want. Assign a drive letter: assign Verify: list volume Exit: exit This removed the old Linux partition layout and restored the entire USB drive as a normal FAT32 drive. Important: clean erases the selected drive, so double-check the disk number before running it.

This works well for my pixel 7 to store files. While I can't speak to the longevity as I just used it, and it like anything would only be one part of a proper storage backup system, one I'm pleased with my purchase. I feel like the little caps, are probably going to be something that I would lose, so I keep it in a little baggie that attaches with a keychain to a clip in my phone case. So while the caps aren't attached, they do go on and off quite nicely and don't really bother me or anything!

I ordered the three pack. When I pulled the caps off of the USB input jack , the cap was onso tight it pulled the entire innards out of the blue cover. This happened on two of the three USB sticks. Despite this USB sticks did work. I doubt they will last very long since the whole thing comes apart when you try to take the cap off.

All proper and functional

One of the biggest problem with buying a flash drives in packs is for some reason, at least one will not work, purchased these in a 5 pack and 1 did not work from day one, a second one failed within 2 weeks. the main reason I got these was for playing music in my van, which only has USB-A ports while my computer has mostly USB-C , so being that this drive can attach either way makes them perfect for my use.

Looks and works great. Just using it for music in the car. Nice to have 2 options to connect, easy to swap from one car to the other as they don't have the same USB connection.

Came packed nicely. Small and lightweight. Bought to transfer vaccination photos and videos off of my phone to clear up space. Easy to use.
