However, I do not know how well it will return after several years since we haven't had it that long. I'm sorry I can't give a better answer, but that is all we've experienced. **Q: Does it lock?** A: No **Q: Can this hold Swiss Army knifes as they are a little on the heavy side. And would it fit in the case and be able to close?** A: It will hold whatever you want. I have 7 large folding knives plus 3 pen knives and 1 15" all stainless LARGE Oriental knife in mine. **Q: Can this hold somewhat heavy antique oversized keys?** A: I think it probably could. Ours was used to hold my husband's police shields that he wore over his 30-year career and they are concave in shape, the surface of the shields bowing out certainly as far as the depth of a large old key I would think.
