PVA Water Based Mould Release - Polyvinyl Alcohol Agent for Epoxy, Polyester, Vinyl Ester, Resin, Gel Coat, Polyurethane Foam, Silicone-Spray or Brush-On Film for Sculpture and DIY Projects

I used this on my first time making a mold for fiberglass. It was easy to brush on and released well, I paired it with a wax because my mold had complex curves and everything came out good.

PvA bonded seamlessly and have a solid layer of protection. Used as an air inhibitor for polyester laminating resin and I have zero complaints. I can't speak to the mood release aspect, however there was a respectable sealant layer left after curing

Wow..This stuff is pretty cool .Wipe some on. Let it dry. Turns into the thinnest plastic you've ever seen. Like celaphane but thinner. Definately wear gloves and respirator. No way this stuff should be applied indoors or without PPA or ventilation.

Good quantity at a good price. Works well with polyester resin but I'd recommend using a sprayer/mister vs painting on as you can achieve better layers with fine misting, vs uneven layers with brushes. Still works well nonetheless.

It's a outstanding product. In my opinion, the only time I would use a wax to go with it, is if the item you're putting it on has a porous surface or tight corners. PVA mould release does what it's described to do. 5 out of 5 stars. 5th star was given for being fairly priced.

Works as it should , fast shipping

Classic well proven release agent. Together with mold wax it works well but a bit messy to work with. Needs to be removed and re-applied before every lamination. But works much better for epoxy than other spray type silicone based release agents on Amazon. They don't seem to work at all, at least not with epoxi in heated molds with vacuumbags.
