The item has all parts and tools needed to replace the screen and digitizer for the phone. It also comes with a screen protector! The kit requires some technical skills and patience! Take your time, think each step through, and you will be able to replace the damaged screen and digitizer on the Galaxy J7 Refine (2018).

I got this kit thinking it had everything I needed to fix my husband's crack Samsung J7 Star phone. The installation was a bit frustrating, so I can see where an "expert" installer would be good. That unfortunately would cost more than the phone is worth. We watch a video on how to install it. I highly recommend watching it several time before you start the installation. The one I would recommend is this title: "Galaxy J7 / Prime 2 - 2018 J737 - Screen Glass LCD Replacement - Teardown - Battery." The only thing is on the video he does not use the tools included in this kit, but you can or find a good razor blade and a good hair dryer if you don't have a heat gun. Actually none of the "tools" in this kit really worked for us anyway, so you are better off just getting the LCD screen without a kit tool. The tricky part of this installation is applying enough heat on the phone to remove the cracked LCD screen. Depending on the "condition" of your crack phone, you may not be able to remove the old LCD in one piece. We had to slowly reheat and remove pieces as we go. Maybe if we had a heat gun it may come out in one piece. Also, I was disappointed not to find the "Frame Adhesive Tape" that was supposed to be included. It may have already been on the LCD because there was something differently sticky on the new LCD screen itself. We also applied a thin layer using a tooth pick of gorilla glue that we had on hand along the edge too to ensure it all stay together. The end result is that IT WORKED!! Definitely take your time as you watch and rewind and pause the YouTube video as you work on the installation. I feel confident that we can do it easier and quicker if this happens again. Hey.. it cost us like $25 and an hour of our time, but better than a replacement phone for $180 or have it repair by someone else for $100.

Had just replaced my screen 2 months ago, havent dropped it on hard spots and all of the sudden my screen has cracks on the Digitalizer, im surprised that this screen still works like new but at the same time, im gonna need a new screen soon, cheaply made probably never again order a off brand samsung screen, the one that came factory on my phone lasted 2 and a half years compaired to this one

This is the second screen i have bought from this company. THEY SUCK. The first one was snapped in half almost, and the second one would not work after installation. Very dissatisfied with this purchase. Do not buy. Very cheap quality glass that might or might not work.

Awesome, This is the first time I fixed a phone myself and I'm 17 and I had no problem installing it myself. Works like new.
