This item is as described. It goes together easily. The upper light has a 4-way switch - 3 light levels and off. The reading light has an on/off switch. The base is heavy enough to keep the lamp stable in normal use. The lamp shades are white plastic. They look ok and do their job. They fit in with my middle-class living room but might not be fancy enough for an expensive set of furniture. Overall, this is exactly the combination light that I needed.

I bought 2 of these as a family Christmas gift to replace 2 similar lamps that stopped working after years of use. Even the lowest setting is plenty bright to light the living room, which has a vaulted ceiling. The reading light is a handy attachment as well. It moves around easily but keeps the position it was put in without drooping. The lamp is simple and straightforward to put together, and the base seems sturdy enough to hold it up without wobbling. Due to young grandkids though, both lamps are tucked into corners or under legs of furniture for extra stability. It's only been 1 day but the family is very pleased.

So far, I really like this lamp. It wasn't too difficult to put together and it gives off good lighting from both parts. It's also lightweight and easy to move around.

I ordered 3 lamps and they are easy to assemble. They look so nice in our living room and dens! The amount of light in each location is excellent!

That lamp looks really nice, and it was quite easy to assemble. Unfortunately, it seems like some of the finish or coating was damaged during manufacturing or transportation. Initially, I thought it was just some residue on the pole, but I quickly realized the scuff had penetrated all the way to the base material. I contacted Amazon quickly, and they’re sending a replacement out as soon as possible. I hope I have better luck this time!

So far, so good! Happy about my purchase because it is exactly the way it has been described. And it works perfectly so far, about two weeks now.

I ordered this lamp and love it. But how on earth do they thinking can use this.? Its not e even a two pin plug. In hoping I will not be messed around when I try to return it. Its not cheap at this price. Extremely disappointed.

Didn't work and the quality of the white shades is very poor and made in plastic. Returned the item but it's been more than 2 weeks since the pick up and still no refund. Unable to contact seller. For such an expensive item this is terrible quality and service.

El foco que se gradúa duro al rededor de una semana y se fundió, y al ser de plástico las piezas no puedes meterle cualquier foco o se quemara y derretirá la lámpara. Luce bien y bonita pero es muy delicada.
