Review: Based on my recent experience with Revo Tech Support, which was most professional and courteous, SuperConnect gets 5 STARs. - First of all, I love its retro design. Styling, materials and build-quality are excellent (through I am a little worried how long will the remote control membrane keypads last ). As a radio and music player, I rate the Revo SuperConnect a 5-stars. The tuner's FM performance and sound quality are outstanding(I have not tried SpotifyConnect nor DAB yet). However as an internet device, it can use a few travail improvements listed here: 1. It doesn't seem to have a real time clock - every time it is power-cycled, the Date and Time have to be re-entered. (Even though it can be configured to get time from FM, DAB or Internet, I was not able to get it to work). 2. After a Software Update, it resets the volume to Max Volume, This is not very user friendly. 3. Most annoying issue is that whenever it loses internet connectivity, say due to low Wi-Fi signal, it does not remember which WiFi network was selected before. As a result the user has to manually select the desired network and go through the network wizard setup again!. Until then, the internet radio is "hung", and it won't let the user change mode, say to play FM radio, until its search for a network times out (which is a very long time). Not sure other users have the same experience. If so I hope Revo can address these "inconveniences" in a software update. Overall I enjoy listening to the SuperConnect and would rate it a "4". Then have to reset it (by unplugging power cord) to keep it going. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A good radio, but the Grace is a better value. *by J***N on December 10, 2016* I have been looking to replace my Grace digital radio. That radio worked well except for one thing - it could not keep a connection with my Wi-Fi network. My bedroom is opposite to my Netgear router but everything else I would use (cell phone, tablet, laptop, Wi-Fi blueray player) at the same location had no problem keeping connection. So essentially it was useless. When it was connected to the network, I was very happy with it. I eventually decided to purchase the Revo SuperConnect, in the hope that it would be able to hold a Wi-Fi connection better. It occasionally loses connection, but it is now infrequent and to that end I am satisfied. Overall it is a good radio. It seems to be well constructed and should last a very long time. The screen is easy to use and the menu is intuitive. It was easy to hook up to my Wi-Fi network. It comes with a remote, but you can also operate everything directly from the radio itself. Using the radio/remote, one can browse (cumbersomely) the internet radio stations, and play Spotify (which I do not personally use). There are some presents you can save on the radio which you can program to play as your alarm for example. Compared to the Grace radio, It's not as good because you have less options on what you can play from the radio itself (no Pandora, no Iheart radio, ...) what that means I that you cannot listen to those stations on the Revo without the use of a second device (tablet or phone). To listen to Pandora, Iheart or whatever else , you need to use the Bluetooth connection on a phone/tablet.. You can do this with individual aps (ie Pandora ap). Works fine, but remember that since you need a tablet/phone to play those stations, you cannot have them as presents on the Revo to use as a wake up station for example. There is also a Revo ap which you can use from your tablet or phone to operate most of the controls on the radio. With the ap, you can browse internet radios (much easier than from the radio itself), create presets, and play music through the blue tooth player. Sound wise, it's fine...but do not think it's significantly better than the Grace radio. I would call these about even. So overall it's a good radio, but I don't think it's worth the $400 they want. The Grace radio is a much better value for most people.
