You must be careful to correctly align/orient the new cap/diaphragm/spring exactly like the old one before snapping it in place. Otherwise, you'll have to break the cap and start over with a new kit. Take a photo of the old cap before you remove it (Hint). A bit fiddly to get properly placed (rubber gasket centered in plastic cap, spring properly in place) and once the cap is partially snapped in place, there's no going back. Perfectly doable, just be careful.
