Refrigeration Grade has its own Spec ASTM B280 and wall thickness unique to it . Type L & M & K are water tube with ASTM B88 specifications **Q: What fittings can be used for this?** A: Even though it says 1/2" I used 3/8 fittings on this tubing **Q: can this be used for propane undergound?** A: I'm not sure about underground? I used mine to go under my camp, laying on top of the ground. **Q: What is the temperature range?** A: My propane line is on top of the ground in central New York.
